I Walked With Christ

I walked along the shore today In winter's blustery wind I walked with Christ my Saviour Gaining greater peace within.

I shared with Christ my burdens My every doubt and every fear I walked along beside Him And yes, He's always near.

He held my hand so gently This Precious Friend of mine He spoke His love quietly So tender and so kind

He told me I have naught to fear He'd ward off every foe As long as I would come to Him With every single woe

In Christ I learned to place my trust With Him all burdens share As I walked with Christ along the shore And learned how much He cares
