- Say 'Please' and 'Thank
You' a lot.
- Be confident; at least try and appear to be - others cannot tell the
difference.
- Make women powerful - not just domestically but economically and
politically.
- Gossiping is fine at home and at get-togethers but do take a break
from it at the workplace.
- Let us not be known as a nation of holiday-makers. Stop adding a new
public holiday every year.
- Let us resolve not to spit in public; only in private.
- Stop jumping red lights; try following at least some traffic rules.
- Let us learn to queue up; not rudely push each other.
- Do not worry, be happy.
- Take the trouble to walk up to dustbins rather than shooting from
afar.
- Let us keep religion within our hearts and the confines of our home
and leave other people to manage theirs. Stop using microphones and roads to announce your
religious beliefs.
- Little kids must be respected; parents, teachers, take note.
- Keep a couple of hours aside every three months to call up or write
to old friends.
- Go for a picnic with the family at least once in six months.
- Stop aping the West blindly; be original even when copying.
- Promote good neighborliness.
- Never walk out or sleep over a quarrel with your spouse.
- Watch the sun rise at least once in six months.
- Stop fighting with each other; our beauty lies in our multifarious
differences; enjoy them.
- Donate blood at least once a year.
- Make at least one person smile each day.
