"P.O.V."

Okay disclaimer time: I don't own Digimon as you all know and the plot is

mine, not from anyone else's, this story is for entertainment only and not

for money. <<<end cut and paste section>>>

Matt, Tai and Sora are 16, Mimi is 15, T.K. and Kari are 13. If I decide to

put Joe and Izzy in this story, Joe is 17 and Izzy is 15, okay? Okay.

(Mimi's P.O.V.)

I killed Matt. Yamato Ishida, dead at 16. I took him away from his parents,

his brother, and the rest of the Digidestined. Yes, the police will tell you

different. The other car slammed into his. I was not involved.

But of course, I know different. The police, the psychiatrist, his family,

my friends, all say that I'm blaming myself because I was the last to see

him. Or that I am his girlfriend. Excuse me, was his girlfriend.

The relationship was great; we were like any other normal couple. Ours was

special, though. We realized our feelings for each other in the Digiworld. I

thought that Joe liked me and Matt liked Sora. Turns out Joe liked his

studies more than girls, and then Sora and Tai became a couple. Everyone

knew about T.K. and Kari; they are still perfect for each other. They

balance out. There is some inner peace involved in their relationship.

That's how it was with Matt and I. All events around us were serene,

peaceful and calm. I felt so complete with Matt; it is hard to describe. He

made me feel great. That's why it's so painful to tell how I killed Matt.

(T.K.'s P.O.V.)

Up the unthinkable happened, his and Mimi's relationship was fine. They went

out like every Friday or Saturday. They did normal couple stuff: they

cuddled, Matt bought her presents, and they did stuff I've seen only my mom

and dad and Tai and Sora do (stuff I'm not supposed to do, you

know.kissing). They had been going out around five years, since the

Digiworld. If only my brother and Mimi hadn't had that fight.

(Mimi's P.O.V.)

Yes, thank you T.K., the fight. Before that, I had this absurd idea that

Matt and I would be together forever, we would end up marrying, having kids.

But since the crash, that dream was shattered into a million pieces. That

was not possible now. I am told I should move on, but I can't. I can't go to

school; I barely eat enough to make my parents happy, I will never go out

with another guy again. It hurts too much.

"Are you still crying, Mimi?" Palmon asked me. My puffy eyes told her all

she needed to know. "Oh, Mimi, why do you think of him if it hurts so much?"

I knew she was just trying to make me feel better.

"Because Palmon, I loved him." I answered her. "And I still do."

"Mimi, why don't you go out and shop? That always takes your mind off of

things. Call Sora and tell her to meet you at the mall."

"I really don't want to see Sora right now." Any other Digidestined would

remind me of him.

"I'm sorry Mimi. I'll just go away now." Palmon looked like she was going to

cry.

"No, Palmon. Wait. I just don't feel good, and I need some time away from my

friends." My mind wandered back to that faithful night as I lay in my bed.

Flashback

The doorbell rang throughout my house. I yelled that I would answer it. I

ran down the stairs in my short hot pink skirt with a tank top to match. I

flung open the door.

"Matt! Hey come in."

"Hi Mimi." As soon as he entered, he embraced me in his arms. It was nice to

be with him, but.

"So are you ready to go? Evan is in the car, he asked me to drop him off. It

's that okay?" Evan, Evan was a guy in Matt's grade and not bad-looking,

because him and Matt looked like twins. They both had the same wild blond

hair, blue eyes, and killer smiles.

"Sure, Matt, let me grab my jacket." When I came back to Matt, he grabbed me

around the waist. Leaning closer, his lips were about to touch mine. "Wait."

I told him. "Can we do this another time?" I pleaded with him.

"Mimi, you are always telling me to stop kissing you, maybe another time.

Why do you do that? I don't understand. Are you afraid that a kiss or a hug

will commit you to me forever? Huh?" he asked.

"Matt, I just don't feel like."

"Yes that's right. You never feel like it. Maybe tonight we should be

apart."

"No Matt. Let's."

"No Mimi, you're always telling me no. Do you control this relationship with

your 'no's'? Because that's what it seems like."

"Matt, please, let's just have a good time together tonight."

"I'm thinking. Maybe we should just stop seeing each other if we can never

further our relationship."

"Are you breaking up with me?" I asked him, tears welling in my eyes.

"Mimi, do you love me?" I was shocked by his question.

"Well, um, we have been together for five years now.and."

"Do you love me?"

"I.I.I don't know."

"All right, that's what I needed to know. I have wasted five years liking

you, worshipping you, loving you.and you don't even know?" he yelled. "Fine

Mimi! We are over! See you around Mimi." And with that he got into his car

and Evan and him sped down the street, leaving me in the doorway, crying my

eyes out.

(Officer Nyakoto's P.O.V.)

The crash happened at Third and Sycamore. Two teenage boys ran a red light

and a semi truck struck the passenger's side. The driver had no

identification and was taking to the hospital in an ambulance. The other boy

was not so lucky. I could not find a pulse, but found a wallet.

"His name was Yamato Ishida. His number is 555-5066. Mushio, call and tell

his parents."

(Officer Mushio's P.O.V.)

I dialed the number as Nyakoto described. I hated doing this. Calling a

family to tell them a loved one had passed away. The phone rang once, twice,

three times before someone picked up.

"Hello?" a boy's voice answered.

"Hello, is this the Ishida residence?"

"Yes it is, this is Takeru speaking. Who would you like to talk to?"

"Are you Yamato's brother?"

"Yes I am. Why?"

"I'm sorry to tell you this, Takeru, but Yamato's car was in a wreck and

he.well."

"He's okay right? Which hospital did he go to? I told him not to go so

fast."

"No, I'm sorry, Takeru, Yamato did not go to a hospital. I'm afraid that he

has died."

"What?" the phone dropped. I could hear Takeru crying and yelling in the

background. Someone else picked up the phone.

"This is Yamato's father."

"Hello. I'm sorry to inform you that your son has passed away."
