DAVID VICTOR - A veteran San Francisco bay-area musician with extensive recording, producing and performance experience. David's most recent project was VELOCITY's debut CD "IMPACT" which he produced from January to October, 1997. Other studio work in 1991 resulted in the debut solo album "PROOF THROUGH THE NIGHT", which received solid reviews, and sold through a nationwide mail-order campaign. David has also done studio work with Brad Gillis and Jesse Bradman of NIGHT RANGER, and guitarist extrordinaire Ronnie Montrose.
What can i say about this man? WOW!! His stage presence is phenomenal. I remember one specific moment during the concert when he was shreding on the guitar an singing just a certain move he made on stage had me completely captivated an i knew i was going to be a forever fan. That image remains in my mind.

CHRIS DODGE - 22-year-old guitarist and JOE SATRIANI protege', originally from Pinole, CA, was most recently fronting his own instrumental power-trio CLOUD NINE, touring throughout California. Some of Chris' music has been heard on FOX's "NFL SUNDAY", NBC's "FRIENDS" and UPN's "SABRINA THE TEENAGE WITCH". Chris' fluid chops began developing at the unbelievably young age of seven, and his talents have been used to shame older players while demoing amplifiers at several NAMM shows. Chris has also studied with fret wizard ALEX SKOLNIK and has been teaching guitar since the age of twelve.
ONCE AGAIN WOW!! (you are going to see that word alot involving this band, on this page). He certainly is awesome!! His playing was almost like taking you to an entire different world, an puts many guitarists ive seen to shame. Very few in my opinion can compete with his talent!! (look out eddie van halen!)

BOB GAUT - The heartbeat of VELOCITY, who hails from Oakland, California. Bob has been playing professionally for over ten years in such bands as EQUINOX, THE KYND and SLINGS AND ARROWS. Bob was also a founding member of Bay Area alt-rockers NINEMILE WOLVES. A fortuitous post on the internet resulted in a demo exchange with David Victor, and the connection was made. "As soon as I heard the bands demo, I knew it was something I wanted to be a part of. I had been away from playing this kind of music for a few years, but I was eager to contribute my style to it" says Bob.
Ok i wont say WOW again. Yeah i will WOW!!! What he was playin we were totally diggin! His playin was perfect timing an was like thunder crashing each time! My friend was in a total trance from his playing! The way he plays is the way drums were meant to be played an heard.

JOHNNY LIMA - The newest member of VELOCITY is bassist JOHNNY LIMA , an internationally-acclaimed solo artist in his own right, already having released two albums on Now & Then Music in Europe. His latest album "Shine On" has been receiving widespread acclaim throughout the rock world. The Northern California native adds his vocal and bass-playing talents to an already formidable VELOCITY lineup. "When I heard that Velocity was looking for a bass player, I jumped at the opportunity. Every rocker dreams about being in the ULTIMATE band, and it doesn't get any more ultimate than this!". Johnny uses Carvin basses and amps.

CHRIS THORNTON - the (former) bassist brings extensive stage, touring and recording experience to VELOCITY. Chris' stage experience include L.A. performances with the bands ROKKIN HORSE and CODE BLUE. Chris has also performed with former members of WARRANT and TONY MACALPINE. Playing and singing since the age of 14, Chris was pitching demo tapes to A&R personnel and independent labels when he hooked up with VELOCITY. Chris' multi-instrumental, vocal capabilities and solid bass-playing round out the VELOCITY sound.
Yup you guessed it, WOW!!! He also has a dynamic stage presence!! He seems to feed off the energy of the crowd an vice versa!! You could see the adrenaline rushing through him! He did alot to keep the crowd entertained, an captivated many people (including my best friend) with his beautiful smile! All we talked about for hours after the show was VELOCITY! Even when we met Warrant we were still raving about how awesome VELOCITY was. In my opinion, any many others i talked to after the show, they blew slaughter away!! The Band
