Hello there!
Well, allow me to introduce myself. I am Daniel Berry, born in 1970 to
a family from Londonderry, Ireland. I grew up in California. After High
School, I attended Condie Jr. College and studied Computer Science and
Business Studies. After receiving my AA, I worked for a and saved up enough
to travel to the East Coast. Later I stayed at Little Portion Hermitage.
I wanted to become a Christian monk, but the Lord had other plans for
me, for He sent me back to California. Before leaving the Hermitage, I
asked God to send me a helpmate. The Lord answered back, describe her.
So I did. I gave the Lord a long specific list, which I thought described
a woman, who simply did not exist! Once back in California, The Lord told
me to volunteer at a local Bible House for the day, so I did. At 12:30,
a girl walked into the place, and the Lord said, "That is the one
you prayed for." She browsed around the store, asked me a few questions,
introduced herself, and then bought a few things. 15 minutes later, the
Lord, told me to take my lunch break, so I did. I told Tom Hills, the
owner of the place and went out the door. The Lord said turn right and
walk, so I did. Then on the next block He said turn left. Then right,
then left again, until I was on the other side of town. Then a friend
from church saw me and said, "Hi" from across the street. I
looked up and saw that my friend and the same girl, Satomi, from the store,
who was seating in a city bench about 15 feet from my friend. I crossed
the street, said, "Hi and bye" to my friend and sat next to
Satomi. In a surprised voice, she asked me if she had left anything at
the store. I said, "Yes, you forgot me." Well later I found
that she did fit that long list, which I prayed about back at the hermitage.
Needless to say, we were wed a year later. I went back to school to become
a teacher. In 2000, I started work at Sierra Valley Collage, teaching
courses on Computer subjects. My wife and I meet some wonderful friends
from Kingsburg, named Al and Jane Bongorno. We love them so much that
we moved to Kingsburg at this time. In the fall of 2000, I was hired by
Valley ROP to teach night classes on the same subjects. If
you are interested, my resume can be found here. In August of 2000,
we found out that Satomi was pregnant with our first child. He will be
born April 26th, 2001. His name is Shalom Miyahara Berry. I am currently
making a web site for the church, which we attend, located at:
