PC Proficiency Lessons

Welcome to the PC Proficiency course.
I am very happy to you here in the course which will develop and fine tune your computer skills.

Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Daniel Berry. I received an AS degree in Computer
Science in 1989 from Condi Jr. College, an AA degree from Kings River College in 1995, and
a BA degree in teaching in 1999. In 2000, I received my teaching credentials in both K-12 and
adult education. I have taught computer skills and MOUS at Sierra Valley College. I am currently
working with both Selma and Kings Canyon Adults school. I also build PCs for the Reedley area.

I hope that everyone learns and grows during the unfolding of this course.

4. Program Terminology
5. Program Navigation
6. E-Mail Proficiency
7. Internet Navigation
8. Search Proficiency
9. Microsoft Works Competence
10. Microsoft Office Competence

Other skills and Proficiencies will also be covered throughout the length of
the course, as individuals need.
