question: Will this line of work continue to support me?

1. distant past: Princess of Cups

In the distant past, when you first went into this work, it acted as a healing, cohesive element in your life.

2. immediate past: King of Cups

You have learned your craft - you have emotional control over it and have the ability to make informed decisions.

3. present influences: Nine of Cups

Your work brings you into a community of people with similar interests and values.

4. present obstacles: Two of Cups

Although you are drawn to your work, you need to integrate it into your life in a little different manner.

5. present outlook: Ten of Swords

There is a need for change - to reconstruct what you do and how you do it. This may be a very abrupt form of change.

6. future influences: Strength

Learning to listen to your intuition, to become one with your environment.

7. ultimate result: Five of Staves (Wands)

There is a need for planning and negotiation - but the changes can be made, and your work, taken into a new environment, can be sustaining financially.

Relationship:

This can be used for any form of relationship: friendship, love, business or family.

The significator for the relationship is placed in the middle. To the right of the significator is card number three, to the left card number six. Card number two is placed above card number three, card number 4 is placed below card number three. Car number seven is placed above card number six, card number five is placed below card number six.

The positions are defined as follows:

1. the significator, or the main theme of the relationship.

2 & 7. The conscious self - how the individuals relate in their minds.

3 & 6. The soul of the relationship - where t he hearts meet.

5 & 4. Outer appearances for both people.

deck used: Ancestral Path

question: How do I relate in my current relationship?

1. significator: The Lovers
The main theme of this relationship *is* relationship -how we relate to each other.

2 & 7. The conscious self: 2 (me)Two of Sacred Circles (Pentacles), 7 (him) Six of Staves (Wands)

I relate from a point of balancing the physical and the spiritual. He relates from a point of actively doing, of overcoming. The problem here is in each acceptng the manner in which the other operates.

3 & 6. The soul of our relationship: 3 (me) Nine of Sacred Circles (Pentacles, 6 (him) Seven of Sacred Circles (Pentaacles).

With me - there is a need to share wisdom. With him, there is a need for physical labor and celebration of the fruits of that labor. Here again - the problem is in understanding how each other operates.

5 & 4. Outward appearances: 5 (me) Three of Cups, 4 (him) Six of Swords.

Union with the other, peace and happiness are important to me. The emotional connection. His connection is through the mind. There is again the need for understanding our diverse ways of dealing with life.
