The six's represent the sphere of Tiphareth* (the sixth sphere of the Tree of Life) and the sixth path - that of Mediating Intelligence. This is the sphere of balance - that point in the Tree of Life where all things are equalized. It is a sphere of harmony whose symbols are the Rose Cross and the cube. ( * From Tarot For Tomorrow by Emily Peach.)
The energy of the number six is that of adjustment. It unlocks the mystery of the number five by bringing into balance the higher and the lower qualities in any situation. Compassion and responsibility are keywords here. The way that the six's are expressed is very internal/personal. Through applying the number six we move beyond that which we perceive to be a block or difficulty.
Osho Zen Tarot
description (mine):
This is one of the most representative of the Zen aspect of the cards in this deck. We see a very confident Tiger walking on a globe of the world. Riding astride the Tiger is a male figure dressed in nice, bright colors, his face turned up to the sky with a look of joy, his arms thrown up high to Universe with his palms out - and streamers of confetti everywhere. :)
Interpretation (mine):
We need to accept life's challenges with an open heart and an open mind. Our victories are there to be acknowledged, but are transitory - not something that we should attempt to hang on to or define ourselves by. As we celebrate our victories, we open ourselves to more of life's challenges.
Affirmation:
"I accept life's challenges celebrating the victories while seeing them as only a part of life's mystery, and opening myself to all that life has to offer."
description (mine):
Here we see a very poignant picture - that of a young girl looking off to the right of the card in a daydream. The object of her daydreaming appears in blue and white - a strong, composed young man holding a young girl in his arms in both a romantic and protective manner.
Interpretation (mine):
We cannot look outside of ourselves for someone to complete our lives, for the ideal soul mate that will bring us the happiness that we cannot seem to generate for ourselves. It is necessary to form a primary relationship of loving and caring with ourselves - we first need to complete our own lives so that we have something to share with another.
Affirmation:
"I have learned to love myself - therefore I have love to share."
description (mine):
This is quite an interesting card. The sky shows clouds, and the left hand side of the card shows a hill of very sharp rocks. The focus of the card is an older, sharp looking woman with red hair, a purple dress and green gloves. She holds a staff in her left hand, and her right arm is raised with her hand pointing into the distance. On her head is what looks like a green pillow or cushion, with a rooster sitting atop it. At her side is an interesting individual - the a red haired figure the size of a child with the face of an older person. It is he that the woman is pointing things out to.
Interpretation (mine):
The *should's* that we place in our life are burdens - they keep us from accomplishing all that we can. When we let go of them - we free ourselves both emotionally and mentally. Our lives do not have to be uphill battles - but we make them so by placing expectations on ourselves.
Affirmation:
"As I let go of what *should* be - I allow myself to be what I *can* be."
description (mine):
The top of this card has a green background, the bottom a red background. In the middle we see two discontented appearing men.
Interpretation:
We must live our own truths. If in making a compromise we live our truth and allow the other person to do the same, honor has been given and received. If in compromising we are looking for personal gain - we can expect the same energy from the other person.
Affirmation:
"I willingly share my energy, gifts and talents - knowing that others will reply in kind."
