Osho Zen Seven's

The seven's represent the sphere of Netsach* (the seventh Sephirah of the Tree of Life), the first sphere of the Astral Triangle and the seventh path - that of Occult Intelligence. Netsach represents the feminine principle in the Astral Triangle. It's primary symbols are the girdle, the rose, the lamp and the planet Venus. This is the sphere of right relationship - of creative instinct, our emotional selves and the forces of nature.( * From Tarot For Tomorrow by Emily Peach.)

The energy of the number seven is that of holding faith in that which cannot be seen. This is a number of observation and of discrimination. In a reading, this indicates a time of solitude for the querant.

Stress (7 of Fire/Wands)

description (mine): Here we see a three legged juggler, standing on a balloon, blowing a trumpet and juggling multiple lit candles. Off to one side sits a monkey with a pin in his hand, ready to burst the bubble that the juggles is frantically juggling on.

interpretation (mine): We all blow our own horns as we juggle myriad projects and responsibilities. We create stress within ourselves as we do this - as we convince oursleves that only *we* can meet the deadlines, only *we* can get everything done. In stepping out of the flow of life, we give oursleves a much needed breather.

affirmation (mine): "Life will happen on it's own - it is time for me to smell the flowers."

Projections (7 of Water/Cups)

description (mine): In this card, a male and a female face each other. However, t hey are each unable to see what the other truly looks like, because of the preconceived projections coming from their own minds.

Interpretation (mine): We cloud our own vision by being judgmental. If we choose to live from our centers, and acknowledge our judgments of people and situations as they occur, we give oursleves the chance to ask the questions that will allow us to see clearly. We need to ask oursleves if what we are seeing really belongs to the other person, or to the situation that we are judging, or is it in some way a part of us. When we ask that question, we can affirm that part of us and let it go so that we see what truly surrounds us.

Affirmation (mine): "Through my inner eye, I see life with crystal clarity."

Politics (7 Of Clouds/Swords)

description (mine): This is an amusing and amazing card. The overall tones are green and yellow. A male sits at a table, wearing what looks like a very devious mask over his face. Inhis hand he holds a lovely, gentle, smiling mask face. Twining itself around him is a rather large snake. Politics and the prototypical snake oil salesman - good match!

Interpretation (mine): We are asked here to take a look at our own actions and motivation. Manipulation gets us nowhere but into trouble. What we achieve in this manner is not *real*, nor will it last.

Affirmation: "In walking my talk I need no mask - truth and honor walk with me."

Patience(7 of Rainbows/Pentacles)

description (mine): This is a wonderful card, filled with symbolism and good vibes. The top third of the card ia a black background with Grandmother Moon in her various phases arched over it. In the middle of the card sits a pregnant woman, with her arms encirciling her stomach in a protective, cradeling manner. She is surrounded with the soft green of creativity , and flowers in yellow, orange and gold.

Interpretation: Patience has long been held to be a virtue. We have planted the seed, done the work, and only need wait for the results, which we know will bring us abundance in some manner. We need to learn to accept this space - to enjoy this time of serenity.

Affirmation: "As Grandmother Moon smiles on me, I wait in contentment as I know in my heart that my work will bear fruit."
