The ten's represent the sphere of Malkuth* (the tenth Sephirah of the Tree of Life), the completion of the pathways of numbers one through nine. It is the tenth path - that of Resplendent Intelligence, and stands alone - the only path not part of a triangle. "Malkuth is the Sephirah where the elements that are rooted in Kether blend to produce the matter and stability that "ground" the interactive forces of the cosmos. The primary symbols of Malkuth are teh equal armed cross (the cross of the elements) and the mystic circle."* ( * From Tarot For Tomorrow by Emily Peach.)
The energy of the number ten is that of transition ... of moving from one cycle to another. The ten's in each suit, IMHO, are an energetic connection to the Ace's of the next suit. Ten's carry energy that is very different than that of Ace's, therefore I do not reduce the 10 to a 1 (1+0=1) when studying/interpreting them.
Osho Zen Tarot
description (mine): A glance at this card will not suffice - one must truly look to get a feel for what is going on here. There is a narrow band of "picture" in the center, surrounded by what appears to be a web of cracks, as in a mirror. In the center of the picture we see what appears to be the body of a person. Ropes dangle from his shoulders, and appear to support him, but in a manner that holds him back. Where the head would be we see a "block" of muted white clounds in a dim gray background, indicative of "cloudy" thinking. interpretation (mine): We get in our own way, or "tie ourselves up" when we live in the land of holding back our energies. We need to express them - to allow them to flow. affirmation (mine): "In acknowledging the tension within, Iam able to find a way to release it."
description (mine): This is one of the gentlest cards in this deck -adn one of my favorites! The colors are predominately blue and a muted white. Pictured inthe center is a person with and peaceful, joyful expression on their face. Two dolphins are jumping above their head ... showing an energy trail beginning with the heart and ending with the third eye. Interpretation (mine): Living from the heart gives us a completely different perspective on life than living from the mind. Affirmation (mine): "In honoring the "experience" of living from my heart I am able, for a brief moment, to connect with the deepest level of joy in life."
description (mine): I find the portrayal here to be a most interesting one. Three form of life are shown emerging from each other in turn: camel (representing the state of consciousness where one is delusional ...i.e. not aware of what reality is), from which the lion (representing a level of awareness where we begin to "roar" our personal truths) emerges, followed by a figure of a child (representing innocence). Interpretation (mine): Of most importance - this is an ever evolving cycle. Be aware of where you are on, this cycle, and be aware that this will in it's own time change.. Affirmation: "In becoming aware of my personal cycles in life, I begin to see that my life is a reflection of all life."
description (mine): The one word that describes this card for me is "joyous". The background of this card is that of a dark night sky filled with an infinite number of stars eminating unending light. In the very center of the card we see the world, in shades of blue and white that seem to glow. Surrounding this is a beautiful yellow color. Circling this yellow band is a circle of dancing figures, all holding hands. The figures are done in a series of colors that fade each into the next. Interpretation (mine): When we recognize the commonality in our diverseness as a species, we have found the link that makes us one, and does not allow a foothold for negativity to take over. Affirmation: "My thoughts and actions reflect that we are each a mirror of our common source - that we are all part of the Divine."
