Jericho Revisited
The Father showed in a dream, a big gray building with bars over the windows and the door barred shut. It had four horns on the corners and it was forbidding looking. The Father showed that it is the church, and that those inside it think of it as an altar but He shows it as a prison.
He said that it is like a prison, because the church keeps the lambs imprisoned and not able to come to Jesus. They are kept imprisoned in religion. If lambs begin to express a desire to know Jesus themselves, the church teaches them that Jesus cannot speak today, or gives them a doctine to substitute for knowing Jesus Himself. And always they teach to fear the enemy more than they teach to trust in the power and the love of the One who was crucified for them. The lambs are taught to be afraid of Jesus' speaking, and afraid that they may be deceived. Jesus is so much greater than the church can ever portray. Was Abraham "afraid" to offer his son, thinking that perhaps he had been deceived? The reason he was not afraid was because he knew the Father's voice. If the lambs were brought to Jesus, and began to get to know Him, they would start to recognize His voice, just as you recognize a friend's voice. Then it would be impossible to deceive them because they would "run from a stranger's voice."
Outside this prison building, stood a small crowd, whom the Father said is the Remnant. They were standing around on the grass, reading their Bibles and conversing together. Jesus came to a hill near them and was waiting for any of them to look up and see Him. He seemed to feel that if any would look up and recognize Him, that an alarm would go off and they would all come running to Him. At last something happened and they all glanced up and saw Him. They left their positions right around the church and came to Him.
Later the Holy Spirit showed that church prison again and said that the lambs are imprisoned inside that building. He showed a vision of the Remnant marching around the church, blowing trumpets. He said that the walls of the church will fall down, as walls fell down at Jericho, and the lambs will come streaming out.
After they come out, they can be taught to know Jesus, which is what the Father always intended for them. Each lamb is precious to Him. Each lamb will hear His voice and know Him, just as Abraham knew Him. This is what the Remnant will do, under the direction of the Holy Spirit, as He leads them and gives them power. The Remnant will warn the church, and teach and feed the lambs with the knowledge of Jesus. Jesus will make Himself known to these lambs, and He will pour out His Spirit on His Remnant.
