CINDY'S DREAM:
A Wake-up Call to ChristiansThe Dream is recorded in black
The interpretation is in blue
The Setting: Christian Heritage My husband and I somehow lost our home in San Antonio, and my mother arranged for us to move into the upstairs loft of a two-story garage that belongs to a family friend in my hometown. When we got there it was empty and dirty and the floor was covered with black coal dust. We began sweeping to prepare the loft for old ratty furniture that was donated to us. We looked over in the corner of the loft, and lying across the rafters and banisters were the most beautiful, crisp, clean, white quilts I had ever seen. We walked over to them and I ran my hands over the material. As I touched them I could tell that they were hand sewn and painstakingly detailed. I told my husband that these were obviously left for us, and that they were family heirlooms. I was extremely excited to have them. At that point my husband left. I continued to clean, trying to prepare the loft for our children. The upstairs loft represents the Upper Room, which is the place for the Holy Spirit. It was dirty, with the promise of ratty furniture, because this room represents the place that the church has given to the Holy Spirit. Although He should be honored and at the head of the church, He is given a small place. He is not treated as the valued Counselor, but as a servant. The beautiful, clean quilts are heirlooms to Cindy, who represents the Remnant, for we are His family. He showed that they also represent the "heritage of faith" that we have from those who have gone before, who are now in the Cloud of Witnesses.
The Church The next thing I knew I was in a large dining room at a convention center in my hometown. I knew my entire family was there, even though I only saw my two sisters and my grandmother. Everyone was seated at picnic tables and were eating and talking. The convention center represents the church, which gathers together to talk. They fellowship together, but they are under His judgment, for they are disobedient. As I was sitting across from my two sisters and next to my grandmother, I had this overwhelming urge to tell them something. I looked down and I was holding a sheet of paper with a scripture written on it. I handed it to my sisters and said, "This was revealed to Mom, and when she told me, it was revealed to me, too. Now that I understand it, it is so obvious that I can't deny it. When you read the original Hebrew text you'll see that it is true.... Only those Christians who are filled with the Holy Spirit will be caught up in the rapture." They looked at the scripture for a few seconds and then began smiling, nodding, and agreeing. People came over to our table and began reading the scripture. They all started smiling and agreeing. This is true. Not all shall be raptured. The Holy Spirit told me that when He gave this dream to Cindy, that He showed her in the dream that only those "filled with His Spirit would be caught up in the rapture" and He said that He meant that only a person filled all the way with the Holy Spirit would be caught up with Jesus. This was foretold by Jesus in the parable of ten virgins waiting for the Bridegroom. In the parable, all the virgins had some oil. But only the ones who had "enough oil" were ready when the Bridegroom came. Many have oil, which represents the Holy Spirit. They have sensed Him in song services at church, or they have been "baptized in the Holy Ghost". He said that this is only a beginning, and not yet "enough oil". They must be filled with Him; hearing His voice, and obedient to Jesus, and there should be evidence of the Holy Spirit's presence. They must know Jesus as intimately as Abraham knew the Father. I looked across the room and there was a man sitting at a table, facing me. His face was shining bright and he was smiling. He nodded his head at me and said "Yes, you're right, now you get it!" Without recognizing the man, I knew that he was from my sister's church. This was an angel. He was present, because angels are messengers of God. He was there to see that Cindy received and understood the message.
The Vision While everyone was talking about the scripture and getting excited, I looked down again and saw that I was holding a child's piece of craft artwork. It was a piece of burlap with a sailboat, cut out of felt cloth, glued to it. As I was holding the cloth, I had a vision. I saw, in modern day fashion, a fishing boat being tossed violently in a terrible storm. The fisherman, wearing their yellow slickers, were terrified. Jesus, just as in the bible story, was on the boat. He got up and walked over to the side of the boat. He raised his right hand toward the clouds and everything became calm. He turned to the fisherman and to me and said, "I am in complete control.... all you have to do is ask." There are storms coming soon. The people in the boat are fishermen, because they are "fishers of men" who are trying to bring others to Jesus. The raincoats on them are a covering of protection from the falling judgment of the Father. We who trust Him and believe Him will be protected from the judgment, as those in Goshen were protected from the plagues.
The vision was over, and I immediately told everyone in the room. At that point, people in the room became excited and began to laugh joyfully. They began laughing out of control, not as if there was something funny, but out of pure joy of understanding. My grandmother, sitting next to me, began to laugh, but she was unable to maintain it. I suddenly realized that she was laughing because everyone else was laughing, not because she understood. Just then, my pager went off and I had to return the call. I knew, as I was leaving to find a pay phone, that my sisters would help my grandmother understand. The pager going off, is the call for which we are waiting - the Bridegroom is at the door. The Holy Spirit calls us to come to Him, and learn His will until Jesus comes for us.The Doctor My search took me through several buildings and down an outside pathway to a ballroom. When I entered, my boss's wife greeted me inside. She and I briefly discussed an issue that seemed to be of great concern to her. I excused myself, but she followed me to the pay phone to use it after me. I returned the call to my doctor who was extremely excited that he had finally figured out the "cure". When I told him there was nothing wrong with me, he ignored me and continued saying that the answer was there all the time. He said he felt so stupid that he had not realized it sooner. He said that my body was going to be just fine. The doctor is referring to our glorified bodies. Our new bodies will be immortal, with no sickness or sin. The Holy Spirit said that Cindy answered the doctor like that because no human can clearly imagine being in a glorified body, since we have lived our entire lives in sin and with death.
In the dream, Cindy's doctor was connected with childbirth. The Holy Spirit said of this, that the child symbolizes the man-child recorded in Revelations 12. The Holy Spirit also said that the phrase, "was caught up to God" applies to this child, who is the Remnant, because the Remnant will be raptured, which is the true meaning of 'caught up to God'.
During this conversation, I realized that the ballroom began to fill with hundreds of people and a line was forming, waiting behind my boss's wife for their turn at the pay phone. Many are waiting for the call, that Jesus is returning. Just as I hung up, my boss's wife turned and walked out of line. When I begged her to come back, she simply waved me off and said it didn't matter anymore. She went to the glass entry doors, stared out, and then walked outside. At that point, everyone in line just walked away and followed her out the doors. The hundreds are the multitudes, who are waiting for Jesus to return. Many get tired of waiting, and therefore do not continue to seek Jesus in all things, but turn aside to other things. I thought this was odd, but I wasn't concerned. I decided to go outside and make my way back down the path to the convention center dining room to finish visiting with my family. The Deception As I went through the doors, I noticed that there were many people all walking in the same direction I was headed. I knew there was commotion but I wasn't aware of what they were saying. As I walked, my clothes began to fall off my body. Because we will become like Adam, with a glorified body - no death - the clothes are disappearing because they are of the mortal, and not immortal. Also, the Father has promised to restore His relationship with His Remnant, to the relationship which He had with Adam, before the fall. Adam was naked before the Father, but there was no shame, for the Father saw Adam as he really was. The only covering we need before the Father is the blood of Jesus, and He will cloth us Himself with righteousness. God drew close to Adam, and met with Him on a regular basis, and He will do the same with His Remnant. I was surprised that I didn't feel compelled to pull them back up. I realized that I felt disconnected from everyone. We are not of this world; our connection to the earth drops away. I strained to focus on what they were saying and doing. They were pointing ahead of me and asking "Is that the rapture?... No, don't be stupid, that's not the rapture!!" I looked up the path, and in the distance, where the convention center dining room had been, there had been a huge explosion of some sort. There was debris in the air, and in the middle of the debris were two Dalmatian dogs floating around and around as if in a tornado. I thought about my family, and something told me they were all right. The commotion became louder and people became very excited about what they saw. The convention center gets blown up, which is judgment to the church. There is a coming tornado, which is a clash of two forces - anarchy (God's laws cast aside) and tyranny (all people on earth forced to be the same). This explosion symbolizes physical tumultuous events to come in the physical realm, and an explosion in the spiritual realm, which is the enemy entering the religious realms on earth, including the fallen, self-centered, Laodicean church. The church will view his entrance as "a great revival" but the spirit who leads it is not the Holy Spirit, but it is instead that fallen angel, Lucifer, who sometimes appears as an angel of light. The people are looking over, and excited, thinking that they see something from God. They will be deceived. The Dalmatians show the timing of the beginning of these events. At that very moment I said to myself, "that is NOT the rapture...." and I looked to my right, pointed, and said, "Now, THAT's the rapture!"
True Revival To my right was an enormous river. Thousands upon thousands of people were walking on the water. I ran down to the bank and as I approached it, I could sense there were a handful of people following me. I hesitated and said to myself, "Can I do it? Can I walk on the water, too?" This is walking by faith, trusting Jesus. I put my foot out and stepped onto the water. At that precise moment a shot of adrenaline shot through me like a bolt of lightning, and I began jumping and shouting and yelling, "JESUS! JESUS! JESUS!" This is the power of the Holy Spirit entering into you. I could now hear everybody around me who was walking on the water. We were all shouting, "JESUS! JESUS! JUBILEE! JUBILEE!" We were jumping and shouting and laughing. I felt the most utter, complete, joy. It was overwhelming. It does not compare to anything I have ever felt, nor could imagine ever feeling, in real life.
Clouds were boiling over the river, and a flock of doves burst out from under the water. As the birds touched the sky, a gentle cool rain fell over all of us. This is the latter rain. The doves represent the Holy Spirit. The rain was refreshing and chilled my body. I turned, and began walking with the rest of the people on the water. I suddenly had a higher knowledge. The precise moment I wondered something, I instantly knew the answer. This is from the closeness of the Holy Spirit. I knew we were all headed down the river to a central area where everyone would meet for a "big event".Not for the Religious I looked back toward the river bank. There was the same crowd as before, looking the other way at the Dalmatians in the air. They were pointing at the "phenomenon", and they were totally oblivious to what was happening right next to them. There was a small group who had followed me down to the river bank. They were trying to join us, but they kept getting their feet wet. I instantly knew that those were the Christians who knew what was happening, but couldn't join us. The religious will never take their place with those who truly trust Jesus. I thought that I should feel sorry for them, but I had no room for sadness. I began to sing an old hymn, "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, There's Just Something About That Name". The precise moment I began to sing, everyone, thousands of people, joined in chorus. It was beautiful. I noticed a popular Christian rock singer trying to join us on the river. After getting her feet wet, she jumped into her car and followed us along the river banks. She began to sing her songs, but nobody would join her. I thought to myself that I should feel sorry for her, but again, I wasn't able.
The Big Event Thousands of us walked down the river, shouting and singing. The river comes from and leads to the throne of God. Others joined us and we all merged to an area that consisted of piers, ramps, and turnstiles. As I entered, I saw a young boy about 12 years old and I thought to myself that he was old enough to be with us. I realized that I had seen no young children. I suddenly thought about my family and children. Small children go to Paradise. This experience is for those who have made a choice for Jesus, and have been found worthy. They will follow the Lamb wherever He goes. The 12 year old boy, was to represent children who have reached the age of accountability, and have chosen Jesus. In other words, this outpouring from the Holy Spirit will be on followers of Jesus, from children who have come to the age of accountability, and who have come to Jesus for themselves, to adults who know Jesus and are obedient to Him, as He leads them by His Holy Spirit. I instantly heard a voice tell me not to worry, they were fine, and I would see them soon. I had no room for worry, just joy.
I came upon double glass doors, which I knew led to the area for the "big event". This big event is the wedding feast of the Lamb. The rapture is the method to take us there. The glass doors are the barrier between the place of the banquet, and earth. (There we shall see clearly, and not "as though through a glass darkly") The Holy Spirit said to Char that Cindy could not pass through these doors, unless she actually had been raptured, or had already died and was in heaven. Just as I reached the doors, I felt myself being pulled away from my dream. I fought and struggled, trying to get closer to the doors. I began to plead and beg to go through. At that moment, I awoke. I felt the reality of my 7 month old daughter, who was sleeping next to me, breathing. I heard a voice in my head say "Now, go tell your family."In the dream, the rapture does not actually take place. First will come judgment to the church, and deception and turmoil to the world. The church will be looking in the wrong direction, and they will fall under the world-wide deception ("And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world." Revelation 12:9) which he will bring to the world and the church. The church will be deceived, but those who truly love Jesus, and are obedient to Him, will "walk on water" by the power of the Holy Spirit, as we serve Jesus with joy." Finally, these events and time, will bring us to the glass doors, which will be opened to bring us to the wedding feast of the Lamb to His Bride."
End of Dream
Comments from Cindy:
What will the rapture be like? Have you ever asked yourself this? Since I was a little girl, when I first understood what the rapture meant, I have always wondered what it would be like. Thinking back, there have been many scary moments in my childhood, and even recent past, when I briefly thought I had missed it. Can you imagine the horror an eight year old feels when she thinks her family has gone and she's been left behind?About a year ago, before the birth of my daughter, I had been thinking about the rapture and whether small children would go with their parents. I said a quick prayer to ask God to show me what the rapture would feel like. Then, I promptly forgot the whole issue (caring for a newborn will do that to you). Ten months later, at 5:30am on February 26, 1998, the Holy Spirit gave me a dream.
As the dream ended, I lay there in bed, frozen, with tears streaming from my eyes. I could not control my crying. They weren't tears of fear or sadness, they were tears of complete, utter joy. I began saying over and over "Thank you, Jesus!, Thank You, Jesus!" Each time I thought of the emotions I had felt, tears would flow even harder. I lay there, electrified and crying, for fifteen minutes. Then I jumped up, ran downstairs, and immediately began calling my family. Wouldn't you? Until this point, I have only shared this dream with my immediate family and a couple of close friends. I now feel that this dream should be shared with the rest of my Christian family. I know for sure that none of this dream was fabricated or conjured up in my mind by daytime or even subconscious events. This dream came from God's Holy Spirit!
Too much of today's Church allows mediocrity. We Christians are turning toward a worldly religion. We have allowed our faith to be governed by a "unified" morality and set of values that we have shaped and molded to fit our modern-day needs. We proudly wear our morality and values as a badge of honor as we go about performing our good deeds. Wake-up. God doesn't change, and his expectations of us have not changed. If your devotions are not focused on Jesus, he will spew you out of his mouth like lukewarm water. We don't have much time. Are you truly ready? Do you actively, daily, invite the Holy Spirit to empower you? Do you use the power He gives you for His purposes, not yours? The Holy Spirit was given to us to enable us to accomplish GOD'S works. The Holy Spirit comforts us, guides us, gives us knowledge and courage, and empowers us over Satan's world. Long for Him, Thirst after Him. This is what God demands. As Jesus said in the dream, "I am in complete control... ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ASK!"
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Comments from Jean Kincaid, Cindy's Mother:
The Dalmatian dogs swirling in the turbulence after the "huge explosion" may be indicative of Yugoslavia since Dalmatian dogs were first bred in what was then called the region of Dalmatia, on the Adriatic Coast of Yugoslavia. That would partly correspond with Bosnia-Hercegovina today.
