One last note and then I will be done.

The Bible was written as 'books' on scrolls. By 'books' I mean: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, are four books. When The Bible was later translated into English, the translators seperated each 'book' into Chapters and Verses. Usually, each 'verse' is a pharse or a part of a sentance. Since it would be unlikely to understand something by reading a part of a sentance, I would suggest you do the following when engaged in Bible reading.

Whatever Chapter the "focal verse" is in, begin reading at least one Chapter ahead of it and then read to at least one Chapter after it. In this way you can then gather the CONTEXT of where that verse fits in. In that way you can avoid reading a verse out-of-context. If the verses previous to and following the focal verse are on one thing, that verse is sure to be on that same subject. You will never find a disrelated verse in the midst of others.

In this way you can then descern what that verse really means. If all of the verses seem to be disrelated, they are probably multiple illiustrations of the main theme, and by reading at least one chapter ahead to one chapter after, you will no doubt see that theme. Then you can see what that verse Really means.

Reading verses out-of-context is one way others try to gain control over you. If YOU don't fall into that trap, (meaning you read them IN-context), then you can avoid that.

I want all of you to be free of bondage of the soul. I want you to know what The Bible REALLY says instead of what someone says it says. Most of all, I care about you and I want you all to receive Jesus and be FREE!
