Yo Yo, it's been a while since anybody's heard from us. School is the reason. We just wanted to let everybody know that the Aug. 16th show at the rotary club was some sweet shit. Pictures coming soon. Everybody did a super-duper job. The crowd was pretty hot and sweaty, and they didn't want to move. And it's not like there's barriers... so what's with the 8 feet of space between the bands and the people?! I thought mosh pits were supposed to happen in the back of the crowd. Ah well... no biggie. CHECK THIS SHIT OUT. Possible show on Sept. 14th, but it's looking more and more like it won't happen. Too bad because we were all really stoaked to be playing with the classic clovis bands line up (i.e. superstrings for superfriends, tao, indrid cold project). I mean c'mon, all those guys collectively are the people who made me want to play shows around here. It'd been like a flash-back to 2 years ago. Well, with all that said I figure that it'd be best to end this long paragraph. Chip is watching me type this, and it appears that he's getting bored. Oh shit, fuck, shit fuck fuck. By the way: A new song was played at the show, and we sold some patches. The new song's called "breaking hopes". It's been cool to see people sporting them around school. And another cool part is that they don't realize that I'm the guy who designed that. I'm such a nerd and weird introvert a school. But I sure do love my girlfriend. Well I'll check up with everyone later.

The hurricane known as Samuel Greene, has done it again, in a way. We've done live-studio recordings of 4 songs thanks to all his high-tech gizmos. It came out pretty good, pumps me up anyway. We're gathering out in the blazing sun tomorrow around 1 for a show. And this time we've brought "urine luck" out with us, for their first show. I wish them luck, and I wish they'd lighten up about the whole thing. I, personally, am looking foward to Skarmy of Darkness. Just the sound of that name makes me wanna skank the days away. So for now, no idea if we'll have cds ready at the show for sell/give away. But we've promised copies to a select few of the "the clovis scene". So that means, go by Dragon's Lair and ask to hear scapegoat, in case there be no CD in your possession. The rest of the band hasn't heard this... but I'm calling the recording "live fun for everyone". So please, refer to it only as that. It'll be fun. Well, I'm off to go strain my throat in practice. Can't wait to play for 5 smoking kids tomorrow!! \m/

Well, jamming and re-writing have been great. We're planning on getting the recording started and completed pretty soon. The CD's going to have 5 songs so far, hopefully a couple more can be squeezed out. The songs now, I would say, are finally hardcore. But y'know, to be safe in a world full of people eager to smash a genre, we'll just call it metalcore. Anyway, we're hoping to have it available at Dragon's Lair and anywhere else. While your there you can pick up the latest issue of SHITRAG with our interview in it. Nothing shocking, in fact it's pretty dull. I guess because I'm a dull guy. Ah well, just letting all know what's going on. We're working hard at being creative and over-all lazy. Yeah... that's all for now. Go and grow a beard.

Well, the break's been nice but it's time to get back into things with practice and writing. We've been tapped by superstrings for superfriends to play July 15th at the Portales skatepark. I know that's a while away, but hey, news is slow. We're on the hunt for a small place to play... so the SEARCH FOR A LIVING ROOM has begun. e-mail us and let us know if your ready to rock in your own home. Plus, their would be other bands besides us. So even if you hate us, let us know so you can enjoy the other bands. Gah, I will never say 'ready to rock' again. Eh, that's all for now. Chip's right, it's screamo.

Maaann it's been a while scince something's been added to this page. Well, how's it going? Good? That's great. Beer is the greatest thing on this earth. The next morning is the worst thing. But in between is great. Well the band jammed last night and it was fuckin' great. New stuff performed, along with 15 minutes of improvising that came up with something cool. Looking foward to summer concerts, and being wasted at each and everyone of them. Late.
--mike
--------
The band is taking a break until summer. So for now there's nothing going on. But as soon as summer hits we'll be playing at the concert series at CCC. Well, that's the plan anyway, I'm not sure if it'll work out like that though. As for now, I need a job. Hmmm.... what the hell:
If your a business owner, be cool and hook me up with a job, I'm desperate. Send me an e-mail if you can help. You'll go into the thank-you's in the CD booklet, I swear. Hah, I'm gay.

Yesterday was killer, everyone there did great. It was my first time seeing superstrings for superfriends, they kicked out the jams mother-fucker(MC5 quote). The only thing that bugged me was that people sat down or left after bands not even giving a chance to anyone else. Russ's sting broke during 117 so we had to extend a chorus for his sorry ass. It was all great though. Here's the setlist:
Reject - living sacrifice cover
Scratches
7 words - deftones cover
Rusting
Merman
117

Once again, shafted as hard as we can take it. We play 2nd at 11:15. People were put into their places by a flip of a coin, some how we get the short end of the stick. We are not happy but can't complain, playing is playing. Hopefully tomorrow, we shall record. It should be interesting.

If you want to see us play saturday, you must rise early. Other than that, I don't know about you guys, but I'm looking foward to the first issue of SHITRAG magazine. I'm sure it'll be all over prairiedoggapalooza. If you don't pick one up you lick lots of grundle. 2 new songs done, "117" and "visceral". fuck you all, eat some pie.

Well scratch the rain thing, probably won't happen here in the desert. In actual important news, we're gearing up for the next recording. One new song, and another is being crafted and molded as you read this. It seems like we're going more emo-hardcore. Kinda like refused and codeseven, but not really. It's fun stuff. About CD sales at the next show, It looks like we're slacking yet again, so if there will be any april 20th, there wont be many. So that means spend spend spend while you can. The set at the next show will be all originals I believe, maybe one cover, so this way you'll really have a good idea of what the music is like. The new site that's been made over the last few weeks is looking nice, so sometime the new link to it will be up and all that. We're moving it because their is too many damn pop-ups on this site.
--mike

If there's a canopy or something at prairiedoggapalooza I hope it rains so people get close to the stage. That's all I have for now, I hope you got alot from it.

Ok, well the ticketmaster thing is obviously not real, but I think I'm done trying to hype it up. The band's all doing well. Sorry for the lack pointless postings, but it's not like anyone reads these anyway!! Um... yeah... Well I think that we'll be selling at least SOME copies of the demo at the show. Not sure how many we'll have ready. I've yet to see any flyers, but there will probably be some coming my way sometime soon. In other news, the guys and I will be taking some time off after april 20th to get ready to write this summer. Simply because, we plan on recording a 6 song EP sometime during this upcoming summer. Dammit Mike, why do you always have to make stupid comments and piss other people off? As to what I've been listening to these past two weeks, I've had in Poison the Well's Opposite of December and Tear from the Red. If you don't already have those CDs, I suggest you get them. Goto CDnow and nab those cd's. You wont regret it. News: Hopefully in the comming weeks, my equipment will be upgraded obvisiouly to something louder.
--Chip

Bugada's cool, I've been listening to their cd these past two days, you people should definately get it. Same with the Endpoint and Tao CDs. I wonder if there's any place where I can get Bellmont and Puhlaut recordings... I love the bands around here.
--mike

suck it CHS and watch for flying v's. Oh yeah, thanks to our sponser JB. He rules your ass.
--russ
--------
Well, get this: I'm checking out the local band sites and I goto Bugada's site. I think the band's moving into the practice pad sometime next week. Something like that... Actual news now: We're planning on recording 2 new songs soon along with re-recording vocals for scratches and rusting. fun fun fun. That's all the BS I have for now, later.

Friday was fun, all the bands did their thing, it was great. The highlight for me was TAO's set. Those guys are amazing, they have so many things going on, it's great. Personally, I think when we did 2 deftones covers, we hurt ourselves. But who gives a fuck, we had a blast. All the other songs we did seemed to go well. We got a new place to practice, it's inside a business across from the old library. I'm not sure what the name of the street is, but the address is 117. It's perfect for us, so whatever. I think I'm gonna cut off my weak dreads soon. Why the fuck did I even type that? I don't know. Bugada kicks my ass. Go check them out and see why. Anyway, here was the setlist, click on the titles to view the lyrics:
Reject - living sacrifice cover
Scratches
My Own Summer (Shove It) - deftones cover
Rusting
7 words - deftones cover
Merman

I hope kids goto the show and actually be active, instead of standing outside the whole time smoking, or leaning against the wall seeing who's clothing style they can rip off. Check out Endpoint. Later.

Yo yo, this be Chip. I have really no idea what Mike's rambling is about, but then again, it IS Mike we are dealing with. No new news, apparently, says Mike, The Belmont has been dropped from the show due to "unknown reasons". I guess something bad happend. Oh well, things happen. I have nothing else to say. Oh yeah, one thing: THIS SITE SUCKS!. Thank you, and good night.

Hey there. Well, scince I've been completely lazy when it comes to updating the actual site itself, I've decided to let someone else take over the website because I was just to lazy to finish the stuff that I was designing. It was cool, but it required alot of updating and that always sucks. The site's address will be changed after it's finished, and I think that we'll just make this a site where the band can post what they want. Kinda like a band journal I guess... So let's see... as for updates with us scince december... there's alot. The 2 song cd is done. We never talked about a title for the "demo", but what the hell, I guess you can call it "someday it'll be karsey". If you want a copy just ask one of us when you see us. That or we might be selling them at the march 22nd show. Man-o-man, that's going to be fun I guess... For just one show it sure seems like there's alot of drama and strings involved. But never the less, we'll be there playing for everyone. Fuck man, I hope some hot chicks come or something, it'd be something to look foward to. My acoustic stuff "Signal of Loss" is going good I guess. I'm trying to be artsy... signal of gay is more like it so far. almost 5 months working on 2 songs with house and samples, and one acoustic song. They're decent, nothing to be stoaked about. But it's cool to do it because it's just me, nobody else. I can make the dumbest thing in the world and not have to look for approval. it's sweet, but I like being in a band better, it's way more fun. Well I guess this is a long enough post for now. So when the new site is done, we'll post the link so you can goto it and update your links and/or favorites. But this shit should be in your favorites already. Go and listen to us, so we can see our place on the chart and feel good about ourselves. Like anyone has this site in their favorites... Heh. That's all for now. NORA owns you and your entire soul, and this post was LAME
