Character analysis: Calm and cool, Milliardo fights with almost no emotion, making it very surprising
that he is the son of the pacifist family, the Peacecrafts. When the Gundam Wing series begins, Milliardo is wearing a mask and fights with OZ under the name Zechs Merquise. This position proves to have only been temporary, as after he takes his revenge on the man responsible for the distruction of the Sanc kingdom, his former home, Trieze asks if he will remove the mask. Later in the series, when Milliardo removes his mask and fights with the White Fang, he seems to have motives behind the battles he starts. His true hopes for the future seem to include making Relena a stronger person to lead the Sanc kingdom in his place. Milliardo has a very protective feeling for Relena, his little sister. He worries about her constantly,
although he tries not to show it. Lucrezia Noin always knows he's worried, however. She also has strong feelings for him.
