1)Muladhara(Root/Base)Groin = This
chakra combines earthy and universal energies.
From here the other chakras can be opened. When
blocked paranoia, fear, anxiety
and anger can occur. Color = Red(Sometimes
black/brown) Crystals = Blood stone,
Onyx, Smokey quartz, Sodalite, Agate, Quartz,
Tigers eye, citrine.
2)Svadhisthana(Spleen)Below navel =
This chakra controls identity and commitment.
When blocked it can cause confusion, back pain and
anti-social behavior. When balanced
a person feels brave and is connected to his/her
dreams. Color = Orange(Reddish)
Crystals = Garnet, Hematite, Mimetite,
Selenite, Lepidolite, Alexandrite, Green calcite,
Chalcedony, Coral and Amber.
3)Manipura(Solar plexus)Just above
navel = Responsible for harmonizing emotions
and mental clarity. When blocked it can effect
other chakras and the person feels
lost in life.Color = Yellow
Crystals = Moss agate, Jasper, Malachite,
Moonstone,
Onyx, Opal, Clear quartz, Carnelian, Orange
calcite, Yellow Topaz, Kuzite.
4)Anhata(Heart)Heart = Responsible for
your inner wisdom and love. When blocked
high blood pressure, breathing problems and heart
problems may occur. When balanced
there is a positive effect on the other chakras.
Color = Green Crystals = Adventurine,
Bloodstone, Emerald, Citrine, Rose quartz,
Azurite, Flourite, Beryl, Opal, Rhodochosite.
5)Vishuddha(Throat)Bottom of pharynx =
Associated with communication, creativity,
and expression of your own truth. When balanced
there is a connection between the
person and the divine. Blocked it can cause colds,
vision and hearing problems.
Color = Blue Crystals = Citrine
quartz, Blue laced agate, Chrysopase, Moss agate,
Blue topaz, Turquoise, Blue tourmaline.
6)Ajana(Third Eye)Between the brows =
Opens gate to subconscious or intuition. When
opened one can make better decisions. When blocked
one may suffer from nightmares
and headaches. Color = Violet
Crystals = Jade, Amethyst, Sugulite,
Celestine,
Sapphire, Peridot, Selenite.
7)Sahasrara(Crown)Located on the crown
= Center of supreme awareness and higher
wisdom. When closed you will feel depression and
boredom in everday life. When open
you'll have an understanding of universal forces.
Color = White Crystals = Diamond
