Everday Wicca

Even when we're not lighting candles and casting circles, it's best to live in a Wiccan
manner. Life itself can be seen as a ritual to the God and Goddess.
Many, however, have difficulty in finding the spiritual nature of their everyday lives. We
can become mesmerized by all the smoke and mirrors of society's trappings and
diversions; equally, our home life, employment, bills, and other mundane factors can weigh
us down until we begin to question whether we ever spiritually felt a thing.

Set aside at least five minutes a day as "sacred time". During this time you can simply
think about your place in life and Wicca's role, or you can perform other
activities directly or indirectly related to Wicca.

Here are a few things you could do.
1)Make an offering to the Goddess and God each day.
2)Morning and evening meditations.
3)Morning and evening prayers of thanks.
4)Working arts or crafts with a Wiccan theme.
5)Listening to classical or contemporary Pagan music.
6)Tending or planting plants/flowers.
7)Volunteering
8)Recycleing
9)Journalizing about your Wiccan involvement.
10)Corresponding with other Wiccans.
11)Meditating(or physically attuning) with stones.
12)Writing new rituals.
13)Experimenting with new methods of divination.
14)Collecting magickal herbs.
15)Visiting gardens or parks.
16)Listening and communicating with animals.
17)Reading Pagan fairy tales to your children.

This list can be greatly extended. Once we begin to think of how Wicca has
influenced our lives, a wide range of activities can be performed during such a
sacred time.
