Phileurus truncatus - Triceratops beetle.
![go to P. truncatus larva](images/PtruncatusL3.jpg)
Triceratops beetles are often difficult to acquire and are a challenging
breeding project. The imagos pictured
are very active and always hungry. One imago will devour a huge caterpillar
or big stick insect in a day. Damaged imagos will quickly become food for
the others. Amazingly, P. trucatus can live up to three years AFTER becoming
an adult.
