Lawrence
Lawrence is on the Clarence River a few kilometres upstream and on the opposite side to Maclean and down stream from Grafton. The district was first discovered by an escaped convict from Moreton Bay named Richard Craig. Richard liked the Clarence River and received his pardon for finding three lost Government bullocks in the area.
