Meilin Rae was transfered to Reidenton Elementary after her family transfered to Tokyo. She has been since then hanging off of Li and trying to keep Sakura away. That night after her first day of school, she goes off taking Li's Lazen Board, and finds Sakura, Madison , and Kero searching for a Clow Card. They find it's the Fight Card, so Meilin jumps and starts fighting the card, which later lets Sakura capture it. She never calls Sakura by her first name, only by Avalon.
