Ruby Moon is a guardian like Yue. In fact, she is his equal and opponent like Spinner is to Keroberos. She doesn't seem to play the biggest role in the CardCaptors series. She seems to only be a spectator who enjoys watching Sakura and the others continue their quest. She hurls shards of crystal at her opponents like yue, only hers are pink. Time will tell what her true role is in the series.
