One week after her 10th, Sakura Avalon stumbled upon an ancient book inside her basement. When she broke the seal, she found to her surprise that inside the book, there were these mystical tarot like cards. Removing the Windy Card, the other cards came to life and flew away from the book into the world. After this happened, the Guardian Beast of the Seal appeared from the book, and introduced himself as Keroberos. As he explained to Sakura about her news responsibilities in being a CardCaptor, the Fly Card appeared in the sky. Sakura was told she had to capture the card using her magic wand. After a bit of confusion, she used the Windy Card to take down the Fly Card, thus letting her capture it. It was from this battle that she knew that her life would never be the same again. Later, she must compete against Li Showron and Meilin Rae in the quest to capture all the cards.
Season Two brings new struggles for Sakura it seems. Now that she is the mistress of the Clow Cards and now that this new force resembling Clow Reed has appeared, she is now given the responsibility to transform all of her Clow Cards into the Star Cards. At the same time, she must learn about her new powers and keep the Clow Card's from forever fading away . . .
