Disclaimer: I do not own Cardcaptors or anything important like that
Sakura Avalon a normal, ten-year-old kid or so it seems. Sakura is really a Card Captor and with her friends Li Showron and Kero they are going seal all the cards and the five cards that have been sealed since the age of Clow Reed himself. Long ago he created 58 cards but five of them were hidden from everyone even Kero. Those cards were evil more evil then the Void Card, and found away to combine themselves into one. When they did they were evil and were able unbeatable. It took Clow Reed and all his magic to seal them in a book and hide them from all. Until now!
"SAKURA WAKE UP!" shouted Tori, Sakura's older brother. Sakura awoke from
a wonderful dream. When she looked at her clock she screamed. "I'M GOING TO
BE LATE!" she screamed jumping out of bed. She ran to her closet grabbed some
clothes and quickly changed into her uniform. Kero looked up from the bed and
said, "You should have set you alarm." He said falling back asleep. Sakura
growled and ran down the stairs. She quickly put on her roller blades and
helmet. "Sakura." Her father called. "WHAT!" she shouted. Her father tossed
her, her books and lunch. "Thanks and bye dad." She said skating out of the
house.
Sakura skated down the sidewalk and around the corner. "Maybe I should
have used the Fly Card." thought Sakura as she saw her school come in sight.
When she got there she kicked off her skates and ran up the steps to her
class. When she got inside everyone was already sitting down and waiting for
class to start. She ran to her seat just as the bell rang. Sakura sighed with
relief. "Staying up late." Said Madison. Sakura nodded and then looked back
at Li. "Well how are you going to be a good Card Mistress like that." He
snapped at her. Sakura slumped down into her chair then saw her teacher walk
in.
"Today class will be starting are reports on your ideal careers." He said
placing his brief case on his desk. "You will all be going down to the
library so you can begin some looking for books that will help you." The
students began to line up in front of the door. Sakura and Madison were in
the back with Li who was being bothered by Zachary. Soon the all filed out of
the classroom all whispering on what their report would be about. "What do
you want to be Sakura?" asked Madison. Sakura shook her head. "I don't know."
She replied.
When they reached the library the class began to separate to look for
books. Sakura headed off to the left while Madison went with Rita to look for
some books. Sakura looked around picking out books to find out what would be
easy to do a report on. Soon she came to a dark part in the school library.
She noticed that these books were old and battered. Just then someone tapped
Sakura on the shoulder. Sakura screamed and when she turned around she saw
Li. "Why did you do that!" She whispered knowing her teacher would come by
any minute. Li didn't reply but walked off. "Miss Avalon!" said her teacher
in a loud whisper. "Take your books and go back to the class room really I
thought you would have been more quieter in a library." He scolded. "But…"
she turned to see Li was gone.
When school was over Sakura decided to go to the library since she didn't
get much from the school library. She walked with Madison all the way their
but her friend had to go home. She walked up the steps and opened the door
and saw an old lady at the desk. "Excuse me." Whispered Sakura. The old lady
looked at Sakura and glared through her square shaped glasses. "What!" she
snapped. "Do you have any books on careers?" she asked. "You're the second
person today who needed books on that its in the basement." She hissed.
Sakura slowly backed away and went down stairs.
The basement was cold and made Sakura shiver. There were very few lights,
which made it creepy. She slowly walked down the steps and through the aisles
of books. She could hear her heart thump louder and louder. Why am I so
afraid? She said. She walked down and deeper. When she finally noticed she
was lost. "How could I be lost?" she said to herself. Suddenly she heard
something. She spun around and saw no one. Sakura could feel a hard lump in
her throat and it made it hard for her to swallow. "Help me!" Whispered a
voice. Sakura heard the voice coming from behind her. Just then she heard the
sound of feet shuffling against the ground.
Sakura began to shake. The sound was coming closer and closer. Just then
it stopped. Sakura could feel someone breathing against her neck. She bit her
lip and slowly turned around. When she saw someone in front of her she was
about to scream when he clamped her mouth shut. Sakura began to struggle
uncontrollable. "Sakura it's me!" said Li. Sakura stopped struggling and
glared at Li. He let her go and she was about to slap him. "Why did you do
that?" she asked. "Do what?" asked Li. "Scare me with those whispers." She
said. "I didn't whisper anything, honest!" said Li. Sakura new Li wasn't
lying because he was looking into her eyes.
"Help me!" said the whispers again. Li looked around. Sakura grabbed onto
his arm and shut her eyes tightly. "The voices are coming from over here." He
said walking with her still holding his arm. "Li I'm scared what if there
ghosts." Whispered Sakura. If Li had heard her he was probably ignoring her
for he went on. As he walked toward the last shelf of books the whispers
became louder and louder. Sakura began to tremble.
Suddenly the whispers stopped. Sakura let go of Li's arm and stood there
waiting hearing nothing. Just then Li felt something. He slowly bent down and
began throwing books aside. "Li don't make a mess." Said Sakura. When Li
stopped he picked a book up but he couldn't see it for the light was to dim.
"Let's go see what this is." He said taking her hand and dragging her threw
the aisles. When they came to a table were there was more light Li placed the
book down.
Sakura and Li both gasped. The book looked like the Clow Book only
smaller and instead of a red color it was black. "Is this some sort of a sick
joke?" asked Sakura. Li didn't respond. His eyes still transfixed on the
book. Just then the lights suddenly turned off. Sakura yelped and ran closer
to Li. "Stop being a baby and hurry up the library is closing!" he shouted.
Li grabbed the book and ran up stairs. "Wait for me" she called running after
him. When the two got upstairs it was pitch black dark.
Li walked carefully around feeling in front him to make sure he wasn't
going to hit something. Just then Sakura hit him in the back. "Watch it." Li
shouted in a whisper. Just then Li saw the window and he led Sakura over to
it. Then he placed the book on the table. "Let's open it!" Said Li. Sakura
gulped and stopped him. She quickly placed her hand on the book and said,
"Let's not." Then she pulled it away from Li so he couldn't touch it. He
looked at her and then grinned. "Why scared." He snorted. Sakura shook her
head. "NO!" shouted Sakura. Sakura's voice echoed through the library making
the place even creepier then it already was.
"Let's just go!" said Sakura. Li rolled his eyes and opened the
window. Sakura looked over the ledge and saw it was a long way down. "Uh…"
said Sakura not moving. "Come on grab onto the branch and climb down the
tree." Said Li. Sakura still didn't move. She was shaking and began to go
back inside the library. "Come on Sakura the sun is setting and your dad is
going to worry." Said Li. Sakura didn't move. She was too afraid she was
going to fall. "Use the fly card then." Said Li. Sakura nodded and took out
her key. Just as she pulled it out she slipped. "AHH!" screamed Sakura.
"SAKURA!" shouted Li jumping after her.
Li jumped down and some how he reached the ground before Sakura. He
stood under her and caught her. But the shock of her falling made him fall
back. "Thanks Li." Said Sakura who was holding him. "Its okay but… how did I
get down her so fast." He said. Sakura looked at him then she felt something
fall in her lap. It was the black Clow book. Sakura and Li were both going to
pick it up. When they touched it the book began to glow. "What's going on"
Sakura screamed. Li pushed the book away from him and got up. The book began
to glow. As it glowed brighter and brighter a key came out of the books front.
The key was gold and had a red jewel in it. It floated into the
keyhole of the book and opened the book. Just then there was a high pitched
laughter. Five black cards flew out one by one floated in front of the two
and then flew away in separate directions. Li stood there holding Sakura in
his arms in fear. "What just happened?" asked Sakura in disbelief. Just then
something came out of the book. Whatever it was they didn't get a good look
at it. "Let's ask Kero about this." Said Sakura. Li nodded and put Sakura
down.
She pulled out her wand and shouted, "FLY CARD RELEASE AN DISPELL,
FLY!" in a flash her wand had wings on it. "Come on!" said Sakura climbing
on. Li climbed on and flew off with Sakura. The two soared high into the air
until they saw Sakura's house. The landed and Sakura summoned the fly card
back. The two ran inside and that's where they bumped into Tori. "Hey
squirt." He said. "Where were you so late?" Sakura bit her lip but Li stepped
in. "She was with me at the library." He said. "But it closed a half an hour
ago." Her brother snapped. "We were helping the librarian put books away." Li
lied. Tori raised his eyebrow and then walked passed them.
Sakura sighed with relied and ran upstairs with Li tailing her. Once
they got up there the found Kero playing video games. "I'm going to win!"
said Kero pounding on the controller. "Kero!" said Sakura. Kero didn't look
up. "WE NEED YOUR HELP!" she pleaded. Kero ignored them and began screaming.
"I'm going to beat the last bad guy one more shot!" he said. Suddenly the
screen went blank. "NO!" Kero bellowed. Sakura looked over and saw Li who had
pulled the plug. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT?" shouted Kero in tears. "We need your
help you stuff animal." Li said calmly. Kero was about to bight Li when
Sakura stepped in front of him.
"Kero, Li and I we were at the library when we found this book." Began
Sakura. Kero nodded and told them to continue. "Well when we both touched it
we released five cards." She said. "Strange thing was they were all black."
Said Li. Kero looked confused. He didn't know what to tell them. "I never
heard of any black cards." He said scratching his chin. "You know nothing
about them." Asked Sakura. Kero shook his head and then he saw a flash of
light outside. "WHAT WAS THAT!" he said. Sakura and Li looked out the window
and then looked at each other and nodded. The two ran downstairs with Kero.
They ran past Tori who looked bewildered. "Where are you going
Sakura?" said Tori. "Just for a walk." She lied. Tori shook his head and went
back to studying. When they got outside Sakura again summoned the Fly Card
and flew into the air toward the light. Just as the reached the light they
found a book and a key lying on the ground. "What is going on!?" said Kero.
Suddenly Kero sensed something and spun around. Sakura and Li turned around
just to see Kero become petrified. "KERO!" screamed Sakura. She picked up
Kero in her arms. The two looked around and saw nothing.
Then they saw another light. A girl standing on rooftop. She had long
wavy black hair and blue eyes. She was wearing an outfit similar to Li's Card
Captor only it was blue. She looked down at them and smiled. She jumped down
from the rooftop but Li stood in front of Sakura not trusting this girl.
"Hello Card Captor Li." She said in a sweet voice. "Who are you." Said Li
defending himself. She giggled. "You have released the dark cards so I am
here to put them back." She said smiling. Li looked over at Sakura and then
the book and key. He girl pulled out a triton and said, "Come let's capture
the cards." She said walking over to the book and key.
Li looked at her as if she was mad and Sakura made a face. "What about
Kero." Said Sakura. The girl looked over at Sakura and then at Kero. "He has
been hit by one of the cards." She began. "And the only way to free is by
trapping the five cards." She said. When the girl bent down to pick the book
and key the floated away from her. "Oh my." She said. The book floated to
Sakura and she held it in her arm along with Kero. The key on the other hand
floated over to Li. "Well I guess who have been chosen to keep them." She
said rolling her eyes. "First of all who are you?" shouted Li. The girl
smiled and bowed to them.
"All will be revealed tomorrow." She whispered jumping away from them.
"Good bye Card Captor Li." She said smiling. Li stared at her leave not
taking his eyes off her. Sakura looked at him and at the girl and back and
forth. "LI!" she shouted. Li snapped out of his daze and looked at her.
"Sorry Sakura." Said Li. Li looked at his key and then he looked at his
watch. It said 9:30 and he had to get home. Sakura offered to give him a ride
home but he said he'd manage. Sakura watched him go until he was out of view.
Then she turned around and flew home.
When she got home she called her friend Madison and told her
everything that had happened. Madison was bummed she didn't get any of this
on tape but decided that she'd stay with her tomorrow. Sakura looked at the
petrified Kero. She hugged him closely then placed him on her shelf and went
to bed. She clutched the book to her chest as she slept.
The next morning in class Sakura got there early with Li and Madison.
When they the bell rang they awaited for there teacher to come in. When he
did someone followed him. "Class this Minami Hina." Said their teacher. "She
moved from China." Li and Sakura gasped. It was the girl from the night
before. She bowed to the class and looked up at her teacher. "Please take the
seat next to Li Showron." He said. Minami walked over and sat next to Li.
She smiled at him and then looked at Sakura who was staring at her. Minami
looked at Sakura with a mean look. She then turned away and smiled at Li who
blushed and put his head down on his desk. Sakura gulped and looked at her
teacher.
