At lunch Sakura and Li stood opposite of Minami. She had a smile on her
face while Li looked curious and Sakura looked worried. "Why are you here?"
asked Li. "I already told you." Said Minami. "I'm here to capture the Deadly
Cards with your help Card Captor Li." Li looked over at Sakura. "What about
me." Sakura protested. If Minami had heard her she probably ignored her
because she was staring at Li. Just then Li spun around and walked away. He
didn't feel much like talking to someone like Meilin. Minami looked at Sakura
and saw that she was staring at her.
"What?" asked Minami looking at Sakura. "Nothing." Said Sakura. "Hey
Sakura!" shouted Madison. Sakura looked over and saw Madison, Rita, and
Chelsea waiting for her. "Want to eat with us?" asked Sakura looking over at
Minami. Minami looked down at the ground and began to brush her foot against
the dirt. "Well?" asked Sakura. "Okay." She said. Sakura ran off with her
friends with Minami close behind.
The five girls sat under a tree and began to eat lunch. Sakura looked
over at her friends. All her friends were wearing their school uniforms. "Hey
Minami what part of China did you come from?" Asked Rita. "From the northern
part." Said Minami softly. "How do you like Japan so far?" asked Chelsea
taking bite of her sand which. "Its vary different." She said eating her
apple. Madison was looking at her a magazine when she noticed a small add.
"Look you guys there's a sale at that charm shop." She said showing her
friends. The girls looked at it and saw some pretty cool charms. "Hey let's
go here after school." Suggested Chelsea. "Yeah let's go." Said Rita. Sakura
and Madison agreed. "Hey Minami why not come with us." Said Sakura. "Yeah."
The girls chorused. Minami looked at her new friends and nodded.
Soon the bell rang to go back inside. Once inside their teacher
assigned them work to do in class. Soon the class began to fly and the bell
rang to go home. The five girls waited until they were together and then left
to go to the charm shop. It took them about 15 minutes to get there. As soon
as the walked in they looked amazed. The charms looked beautiful. The girls
spread out through the entire store. Each looked at different types and kinds
of charms. It took them a half an hour to pick out there favorite kinds.
Madison chose a purple charm in the shape of a flower. Chelsea chose
yellow one in shape of a ribbon. Rita chose a white on in the shape of a
tiger. Sakura took one that was a heart that was pink. "What about you
Minami?" asked Rita who has placed her charm on her on bracelet. Minami
looked closely at the charms. Finally she chose an aoi colored triton. "Oh
that's pretty." Said Madison. Just then someone else entered the shop.
It was Li. "Hi Li." Said all the girls. "What are you doing here?"
asked Sakura. "I'm getting a present for Meilin." He said. "Why?" asked Rita.
"Her birthday is coming up and I want to get her something." He said sharply.
Li looked around the shop quickly and picked out a fairy like charm. "She's
coming back a day before her birthday." He said paying for it. The girls
though they should throw her a party. The did miss there friend. After Li
left the girls decided to go home. Rita and Chelsea walked home one way while
Madison and Sakura another. Minami walked home alone.
The two were examining their charms. "Hey Sakura tell me about
Minami." Said Madison. "Is she a Card Captor?" Sakura thought for a moment.
"Well she seems nice but mean a little here and there… and I think she likes
Li." Said Sakura. "You know about the cards I told you about last night. Well
I think Minami knows about them somehow." Madison nodded. "Well anyway I have
to get home and get my camera ready." She said. "Why?" asked Sakura. "So I
can get your next great capture on film." She said. With that Madison ran off
home.
Sakura got home and saw her brother watching TV. She walked passed him
and up to her room. She plopped down on her bed and saw the stone Kero. She
looked at it and hugged it. "I promise I'll get you back." She said. Just
then she noticed the dark book. She walked over to it and looked at it. She
knew what she had to do. She had to capture the five deadly cards and return
them to the book. Just then the phone rang. It was Madison. She wanted Sakura
to come over and try on her new costume.
Sakura rushed out of the house and to Madison's. As she skated she saw
Li walking around. She waved to him and he waved back. Then she skated off.
Just as she reached Madison's house she saw her waiting outside. Madison
dragged Sakura inside. Sakura sat in the room as Madison was taking out a
costume. It was a shocking pink tang top, with a short puffy skirt, white
tights and shocking pink boots. "That's pretty." Said Sakura. "Try it on."
Said Madison. Sakura took the outfit and tired it on. When she came out
Madison looked disappointed. "What's wrong?" she asked. "It needs something."
Said Sakura.
Madison rummaged through here closet and found a tiara. It was gold and
had pink jewels on it. Madison placed it on Sakura's head and t finished the
entire outfit. "Perfect." Said Madison taking out her camera and filming her.
Just then the two girls noticed it was getting late. "Hey Sakura let's go
flying know." Said Madison. "Why?" asked Sakura. "So I can get some good
shots."
Madison and Sakura went outside to a deserted place. Sakura took out her
key of Clow. "Key of Clow Power of Magic Power of Light Surrender the Wand.
The Force Ignite, Release!" she shouted. She then took out the fly card. "FLY
CARD RELEASE AND DISPEL, FLY!" she said releasing the card. The two rose into
the air and flew around. "What great view." Said Madison. "Hey look Sakura."
Madison was pointing down to the ground. There they saw Li and surprising
Minami. "Let's go see what there up to." Said Sakura soaring down.
Minami and Li both saw them. When the landed Sakura sealed the card and
put it back. "What are you two doing?" asked Madison filming Li and Minami
who had their battle uniforms on. "Were looking for the Clow Cards." Said Li.
"I sense one near." Sakura bit her lip. Why didn't she sense it? "This is
weird." Said Sakura. Li took out his lasin board and chanted, "Sources of
light, with ancient spin. Send forth the power within, oracles of gold, wind,
water, and electricity. Force, know my plight! RELEASE THE LIGHT!" the board
began to light up. But it didn't point to anything. It just kept glowing.
Suddenly Li began to glow. He began to rise up in the air and then something
shot out of his pocket and began to fly around.
"It's a Clow Card." Said Sakura. The four stood there but the card seemed
to have disappeared. Suddenly there was a loud blast and Sakura saw something
toward her. She jumped out of the way just barley missing the blast. "It's
the Sniper Card." Said Minami. "How do you know that?" asked Li. Minami
blushed and said, "Be careful the Snipe card is so fast its like invisible."
Suddenly there was another blast and this time Sakura's costume was ripped.
"Sakura use the time card!" Shouted Li. Sakura nodded and took out the Time
Card but as she did another blast came and knocked the card out of her hand.
Li jumped and caught the card. He held it to his sword and said, "Time
card Release and dispel, Time!" As he said that the card froze everyone
except himself. Then Li saw it. The Sniper card was right in front of Sakura
ready to blast her. He quickly pulled out an ofudo and shouted, "FORCE NO MY
PLITE RELEASE THE LIGHT, LIGHTING!" Just as the Time Card ran out the
lighting hit Sniper making it fall to the ground. "SAKURA SEAL IT!" shouted
Li.
Sakura got up and pulled out her wand. "SNIPER CARD RETURN TO YOUR POWERS
CONFINED!" she shouted. Bu it didn't happen. The Sniper Card got up and
seemed to disappear again. "What happened?" shouted Sakura. "You need someone
else to help you seal the card!" shouted Minami. "The deadly cards are
stronger then normal Clow Cards!" Sakura looked over at Li. "Li HELP ME SEAL
THE CARD!" shouted Sakura. Suddenly there was another blast. This time Li was
hit. "LI'S THE TARGET!" shouted Minami.
Li fell back on clutching his arm. Blood gushed out of his arm. Sakura
began to run to Li when there was another blast sending Li flying away. "NO!"
screamed Minami and Sakura at the same time. Back in the corner Madison was
videotaping all of this. "Be careful Sakura." She whispered. Back in the
battle Sakura pulled out a Clow Card. "SHIELD CARD RELEASE AND DISPELL,
SHIELD!" shouted Sakura making a barrier around Li. Li looked up and smiled
but the Sniper Card kept zapping at the shield.
"SAKURA IT'S BREAKING!" yelped Li. Suddenly the shield around Li
vanished. "Sakura!" said Minami pulling out her triton. "Yeah?" said Sakura.
"Do you have the Mirror Card?" she asked. "I have all the Cards." Said
Sakura. "Well give it to me!" she demanded. Sakura pulled out the Mirror Card
and gave it Minami. She ran in front of Li and shouted, "MIRROR CARD RELEASE
AND DISPELL, MIRROR!" The Mirror Card appeared and made a mirror. Minami held
it up as the Sniper Card shot another attack. Then as the attack came zooming
down Minami held up the mirror and it reflected it back. The attack
surprisingly hit Sniper and once again it fell to the ground.
"SAKURA, LI SEAL THE CARD!" ordered Minami. Li managed to get up and
stood in front of the Sniper Card while Sakura stood behind it. Together the
two held up there sealing weapons and shouted, "SNIPER CARD RETURN TO YOUR
POWERS CONFINED!" The Sniper Card floated in the air and transformed into a
card. Suddenly the Dark Clow Book and key appeared. "USE THE KEY TO OPEN THE
BOOK AND LOCK THE CARD IN THERE!" shouted Minami. Li nodded and the key
floated in between his hands. He turned the key and the book opened while
they were still far apart. The Sniper card flew in and Sakura shut it. Then
Li locked the book.
Sakura sighed with relief but noticed Li fall to the ground clutching his
side. Madison came running up with her camera. "ALL RIGHT SAKURA!" she
shouted giving her friend a high five. "Oh Li!" said Sakura running to his
side. Minami to ran to his side along with Madison. "Are you okay?" asked
Madison. Li nodded but when he got up he cringed in pain.
"Li!" said Sakura helping him up. Sakura held Li up on her left shoulder.
"Sakura its getting late I have to go home but Li I'm going to stay and help
you." Said Madison. "Me too." Said Minami. Sakura nodded and let Minami
support Li on his other side. "Wait!" said Li. "What is it?" asked Madison.
"Sakura use fly card to get me home." Said Li. Sakura nodded and summoned fly
and got on. "You two get home I'll call you later to tell you how Li's
doing." Said Sakura. Li go on the wand and held onto Sakura.
As they flew away Minami glared at them and ran off. Soon Sakura got to
Li's house and helped him inside. She laid him down on his bed and looked at
his cut. She took some ointment and rubbed it on his arm and side. Li looked
at her a noticed she was worried about him more then usual. "Sakura…" said
Li. Sakura didn't look up. She began to bandage him up. When she was finished
she cleaned up.
Sakura sat on the floor and looked over Li. "Are you going to be okay?"
asked Sakura. Li looked at her and nodded. "Can I get you anything?" she
asked. "I am a little hungry." Said Li. Sakura smiled and then she heard her
stomach growl. "I guess I'm hungry too." Said Sakura with a smile. "I'll just
call my dad and tell him I'll be late." She said walking out of the room. Li
watched her go. She's so nice he thought. Li smiled and laid back in his bed.
Downstairs Sakura called her dad and said her friend was in an accident
and that she's just helping him. Lucky her dad believed her story and let her
stay. When she was done she pulled out some food from the refrigerator and
began to cook some rice and add vegetables to it. She then put rolls in the
oven along. When she was done she placed the food on two separate plates and
put them on a tray. She got out forks and glasses for water. She then ever so
careful carried the food upstairs. She walked into Li's room and placed the
tray on the bed. He took a plate and began to eat.
"Do you like it?" asked Sakura looking down. "Its delicious." Replied Li
eating more. Sakura smiled and took a bite of a roll. Sakura sat across from
Li on the bed and kept her eyes from looking into his. Li would occasional
look at Sakura but she wouldn't look up. Just as Sakura finished her roll she
went to grab another one at the same time Li wanted to eat one. The two
reached for the same one and their hands touched. For a moment it seemed as
if timed has stopped. Sakura looked at Li and vise versa. Then the two
realized that they were touching and quickly pulled their hands away.
Sakura was blushing but if not more then Li was. Sakura got up and said,
"I better go." She picked up her plate and was about to take Li when he
touched her hand again. Sakura became redder. "Li..." she whispered. Li looked
at her and she looked back. They moved closer and closer until Li turned his
head. "Thank you." He said handing her the plate. Sakura nodded and picked up
his plate. "Good night." She whispered. Li nodded and laid back in his bed.
Sakura cleaned off the plates and skated home. She noticed she was till in
her battle clothes but it didn't matter.
She skated on while Li looked out of his window at her until she was
gone. Sakura face was still red but it died down when she got her home. Tory
was asleep and her dad was reading in the family room. Sakura waved to him
and walked upstairs to her room. Once there she changed into her pink pajamas
and sat on her bed. She looked at the Dark Clow Book and then hid it under
pillow. She then looked over at Kero and said, "One down four to go."
Outside of Sakura's room someone was watching her. The person watched her
with angry in its eyes. Its fist clenched and then it loosened. The person
eyes wondered into another room where Tory was asleep. The person grinned and
then spun around and walked away. "Don't worry Miss Avalon I'll get you and
your little friends…" the person hissed. It walked in the shadows but took
one last look at Sakura's house and grinned. "I always get what I want…
always!" and with that the person or whatever it was had vanished into thin
air.
