Sakura sat in her room looking at the dark Clow book. She wanted to open it and see what Li's future was. She paced around her room wondering what she should do. If she took out the card and looked at it she'd know what was going to happen. But what if it escaped and she'd have to recapture it. The bad part was if someone asked future about there fortune they'd find away to change it. The good thing is that future has no specific powers so its wouldn't be THAT hard to get her back. It was then decided that she would open the book and use Future. Sakura walked over to the book and picked it up. When she did she tried to open it. It was locked. Oh no she thought. Li has the key. Sakura gasped and began to pace around her room. Li wouldn't just hand the key over to her with out some explanation. Then Sakura thought maybe if she could just take it when he's not wearing it around his neck. But if she did and he found it gone Li would be upset. Sakura then sat with her head in her hands. Maybe she should ask someone, but whom? Madison would probably tell Li thought Sakura. Julian then came to her mind. No, how would she explain this to him. Eriol would also tell Li. Sakura sat there thinking what to do. Who would she talk to with a problem like this? Sakura then began to pace around her room again. Then it hit her. Minami could help her. She seemed to like Li a lot. So maybe she could ask her about it. She then wondered what her number was and how to reach her. "This is hopeless." Said Sakura to herself. She fell on her bed and looked over at the stone Kero. She picked it up and said softly, "You have helpedâ€| but I guess I'm on my own." Sakura felt completely helpless. She laid on her bed staring at the ceiling. Just then she noticed her Clow Cards were on her desk. She walked over to her desk and opened the book. Sakura looked them over and over. Then she laid them out on overlapping the other. "Jump, Fly, Through, Sleepâ€|" she said reading the last four cards. Sakura then got an idea. She could take the key easily and all she needed were these four cards to get it. Sakura clapped her hands and took the five cards. She shoved them in her pocket and put the rest back in the Clow book. She then put a jacket on and placed her tennis shoes on. She walked outside. It was still pretty dark but the sun's rays were peeking through the horizon. Sakura took out the Fly Card and her Key of Clow. "Oh Key of Clow power of magic, power of light, surrender the wand the force ignite. RELEASE!" she said summoning her wand. Then she through the Fly Card in front of her and shouted, "FLY CARD RELEASE AND DISPEL!" Her wand grew to pairs of wings. She climbed on and flew high into the air. She flew high into the clouds so no one would see her. As she flew she looked around and noticed no one was up yet. "That's good." She said aloud. Just then she reached Li's house. She landed in the pushes and sealed Fly back up. She then took out Through Card and tossed it in front of her. "Through Card release and dispel." She said softly not wanting to wake Li up. She walked through into his house and looked around. She then heard the shower running. Oh good she thought. She could get a look around without Li seeing her. She slowly walked up the steps and into his room. She opened a drawer. Inside where a bunch of his shirts. Sakura looked through it wondering if he hid the key under it. She closed it and opened another. Inside the next one were socks. She looked inside each sock wondering if he hid it there. There was no sign. The next one she opened made her gasp. It was Li's boxers. She didn't want to go through them but if the key were to be in there she would have to. So she closed her eyes and felt around. She quickly shut it because it wasn't inside. She then lifted up the mattress of his bed. Not in there either. Then she looked under the bed and inside the pillowcases. Sakura then looked around and then opened his closet. She through his shoes out of the closet and then books from the shelf. She began to get aggravated. Then she saw his nightstand with his lamp and teddy bear on it. She walked over and looked in the nightstand. It wasn't there. Sakura sat on his bed in sadness. Wherever he hid it must be some damn good spot she thought. Just then she felt a soft breeze. Li had left his window open. Then she heard a noise. She looked up and saw a wind chime. She stared at the wind chime and noticed that one of the bells was an irregular shape. She looked up to have a closer look. Then she gasped. One of the bells was a key. She took down the wind chimes and pulled the key off. It was the key she had been searching for. Li must put it up there in his house so no one would find it. He must take it down when he went out though. Sakura smiled happily and turned around to leave when she saw Li at the doorway. She froze there unable to move. Li stared at her and she stared back. Li was wearing his boxers and only his boxers. "Sakura what are you doing?" asked Li walking over to her. "Give me the key." Sakura quickly pulled out the Sleep card and before Li knew it sleep had placed her spell on him. He fell to the ground sound asleep. Sakura sealed Sleep back up and then knelt next to him. "I'm sorry Li but I care to much to see you get hurtâ€| you wouldn't want me to do thisâ€| but I have no choice." She whispered. Sakura then looked at the fainted Li and hugged him. She then ran out of his room and down the steps. She opened the door and walked outside. People were now up and she couldn't risk flying by day. So she'd have to run home as fast as she could. Sakura ran down the block. She had several blocks to go. When she turned the corner she saw Madison. Sakura saw her wave and walked over to her. Sakura shoved the key in her pocket and then waved back. Don't make it look obvious Sakura thought. "Hey Sakura want to go to the park with me?" asked Madison. "No thanks I have to get home." Said Sakura. "Why?" asked Madison sadly. "I have to go home and clean." She said. Madison nodded and walked off. Sakura sighed with relief. Then she ran home hoping she wouldn't be interrupted. Madison walked around the corner and saw Minami. "Hey Minami!" said Madison running to her. Minami waved and said, "Hi." "Want to go to the park with me?" asked Madison. Minami nodded but then turned to Li's house. "I feel worried about Li let me go check to see if he was okay." Said Minami. Madison nodded and walked up to the door. They knocked but no one answered. Madison looked and Minami and she knocked again. Minami then grabbed the doorknob and it opened. "Why would he leave his door unlocked?" asked Madison. "I hope he's okay." Said Minami entering his house. The two girls looked inside. It was quiet to quiet. Minami walked upstairs and saw a trail of water leading to Li's bedroom. She walked into his room and saw him on the ground. "LI!" she shrieked. Madison came up the stairs and saw him. "Is he okay?" asked Madison. "He's asleepâ€|" said Minami. Just then Li's eyes fluttered open. "Li what happened?" asked Minami. Li got up and noticed he was still in his boxers. He jumped up and put a shirt on and shorts. As he was he told them what had happen. "Sakura stole the keyâ€| why?" asked Madison. Li and Minami shook their heads. "I got an idea." Said Li. "I'll go to Sakura's house and try to confront her there. Madison you and Minami go look for herâ€| she might not have gone home." Madison and Minami nodded and the three ran out of the house. Madison and Minami split up as soon as they go outside. Li ran around the corner to Sakura's house. As Li ran to her house all through his mind he kept wondering why. Why would she do this?" he thought. Is she insaneâ€| is a ghost possessed her. Then Li felt like slapping himself for even thinking that. He continued to run and then realized it would be faster if he cut through people's yards. Li then jumped up and onto a wall and into someone's yard. He ran across it and jumped another wall. It was faster this way he thought. He was almost to Sakura's house too. Sakura reached her house and quickly kicked off her muddy tennis shoes. She looked around and saw that her brother wasn't home but her dad was in his room getting dressed to go to work. She ran quietly upstairs and shut the door behind her. She sighed with relief and then sat on the floor looking at the key. She smiled to herself and then went over to her bed. She picked up the dark Clow Book and then was about to open it when she heard her doorbell ring. She looked out her window and saw Li. She gasped and shoved the key in her pocket and the book in her book bag. She then looked out the window and saw her dad letting Li in. "Sakura your friend is here." He said looking at his watch. "I have to go to work Sakura, bye." He said getting into his car. Sakura gasped as she heard Li's footsteps coming up the steps. She quickly pulled out the Jump Card. When she released it her feet had two tiny wings on them. She then opened the window. Just as Sakura opened the window Li entered the room. "SAKURA!" he shouted seeing her jump out into the tree. Li ran to the window and she jumped again out of the tree and on the ground. "Come back!" shouted Li. Sakura looked at him and frowned then jumped again. Li slammed his fist against the wall and then ran out of the house after her. He saw her jumping on top houses and she was far away. "DAMN!" cursed Li loudly. He then had only one chance of finding her if Minami and Madison didn't. His Lasin Board could find her. Li quickly ran back to his house to get it. When he got to his house he pulled out his Lasin Board and concentrated. Then he began to chant "Sources of light, with ancient spin. Send forth the power within, oracles of gold, wind, water, and electricity. Force know my plight! RELEASE THE LIGHT!" as soon as he finished a bright blue light pointed toward Penguin Park. Sakura landed in Penguin Park. She quickly sealed the Jump card for she didn't need it anymore Sakura took several deep breaths. She then opened her book bag and pulled out the Dark Clow Book. She stared at the black inscriptions on it and then the black chain that sealed it. She then pulled out the key and then slowly pushed it inside the keyhole. She then turned the key and the chain unlocked. She opened the book and saw The Sniper and The Future card. She was about to take future out when someone tackled her. Sakura fell to the ground dropping the book. The book fell to the ground and closed. "Sakura stop." Said Li. Sakura pushed Li off and then ran to the book. Li grabbed her ankle and she tripped and hit her jaw on the ground. Sakura then looked at Li and wiggled out of his grip. She then grabbed the Future Card and shouted, "FUTURE RELEASE AND DISPEL!" Suddenly a black aurora surrounded Sakura and Future came out of the card. Future looked at her and grinned. Sakura began to scream in pain. "SAKURA!" Li shouted over to her. Li got thrown back to the ground. "Naughty little girl shouldn't have used a Deadly Card that is to smart for youâ€| you can't control us!" sneered Future. Sakura screamed in pain as flashes of the Future went trough her mind but the power was to intense for her that she fell back into the street forgetting everything she saw. Then Future laughed and ran away. Li got up and then saw the Dark Clow Book was glowing along with the key and Sniper Card. Suddenly the Sniper Card flew high into the air and exploded. Li and Sakura gasped as they heard high pitch laughter. Both Sniper and Future were free again. Sakura stood up and scream, "NO!" She fell to her knees and began to cry. Just then Li saw a car coming from down the street. Heading strait for Sakura. "SAKURA!" Li shouted. Sakura looked to the side and gasped in horror. The car was so close. Sakura shut her eyes. As she did she felt someone push her away. She rolled to the side and opened her eyes and saw the car slam right into Li. Li's body tumbled right over the car into and land in the back. Blood dripped everywhere around Li's body. Sakura's mouth dropped. It seemed as if time had just stopped. Tears filled her eyes and then she shouted, "LI!" Sakura sat in the hospital waiting room. The guy who was driving the car was talking to the doctors. He also scolded Sakura for not watching where she was going and so did the doctors. Li was in intensive care. Just then the doors opened and Minami and Madison walked in. Both hugged Sakura and asked how was Li. Sakura clenched her hands and looked down. Tears flooded her eyes. "I don't know." She said. Just then Tory and Sakura's father came. Her father hugged her tightly and asked if she was hurt. Sakura said the doctors looked at her and said she was fine. Just then a doctor came out and he looked around the waiting room. "Sakura Avalon." He said. She stood up and walked over to the doctor. "Will Li be okay?" she asked teas flooding her eyes. The doctor had a grim look on his face. "I'm not sure Miss Avalon he was badly hit by the car." He said. "Can I see him?" she asked. The doctor nodded and led them into the room were Li was hooked up to many machines. "Mr. Showron had broken his legs, his left arm, fractured three ribs and has several bumps on his head." Said the doctor looking through his files. Sakura saw Li with casts on him and a thing going inside his nose and another wire the made sure he had a pulse. "Will he be okay?" asked Mr. Avalon. "We hope he gains conscious soon or he will be in a coma and might die." Said the doctor. Sakura froze in her place when she heard what the doctor said. Sakura burs out of the room crying. She ran down the hall and out of the hospital with her family and friends calling her to come back. She ran and ran no knowing where she was going. "Its all my fault." She cried loudly. She cried and cried and ran and ran until she hi someone. She said, "Excuse me" and was about to run when the person grabbed her wrist. "Sakura is something wrong?" it was Eriol.
