Craig's Career

1986

~ Craig rose to fame by playing Henry Ramsey on the long running soap opera Neighbours.

1988

~ Craig won the TV Week Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor.

1989

~ Craig won the first prestigious TV Week Gold Logie for Most Popular Australian Television Personality.

~ Craig also won the TV Week Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor for the second year running.

~ Craig left Neighbours and joined another Australian Soap, Home and Away in which he played the character Grant Mitchell.

~ The band Craig formed with John Clark and Mark Beckhouse called the ' Y-Fronts ' were introduced to Sony, which saw a change in the groups name, to Check 1-2.

1990

~ Check 1-2's single ' Mona ' received the Australian Recording Industry Association's ( ARIA ) Award for the Highest Selling Single of the year.

~ Craig for the third time won the TV Week Silver Logie for Most Popular Actor.

~ Craig also won the Variety Club Award for Vocalist of the Year.

1991

~ Craig starred as Lt. Walter Carey in the mini series Heroes II - The Return.

1992

~ Craig starred as Ed Edwards in the New Zealand feature film, ' Absent Without Leave '.

1994

~ Immediately after Craig finished Grease, he started filming the movie, ' Catherine the Great ' alongside Omar Sharif and Catherine Zeta - Jones.

~ Craig also starred in the BBC Hi - Tech action series Bugs, in which he was a part of for three full series, leaving the show in late 1997.

1998

~ 1998 saw ' Grease - The Arena Spectacular ' come to Australia with Craig as the lead role, Danny Zuko, yet again.

1999

~ Craig completed the filming of two tele-features this year, ' Tribe ' in far north Queensland, in which Craig plays the bad guy politician, and the ' Backlands ' in Victoria.

~ ' Happy Days - The Arena Mega Musical ' was developed and toured Australia throughout October and November with Craig playing Arthur ' The Fonz ' Fonzarreli.

2000

~ Craig is currently filming a movie in Queensland called The Cubby House in which he plays a real estate agent.
