This model was built for the re-release of the Star
Wars Trilogy: Special Editions and is completely scratchbuilt.

member Vaughn M. also built one, so some of the parts (engines, instrument bay, R2-D2) are custom resin castings.
The height of the model is only 13 cm with the wings closed.
The model is mostly sheet styrene with detailing made from car, aircraft, and tank parts from the spares box.
The engines are made from pill and crazy glue bottles. Originally the cockpit was not detailed and the wings were fixed in place due to a building deadline.
After the model fell from the ceiling, it was rebuilt with movable wings and a fully-detailed cockpit and pilot
were added.
The model is mostly
Flat White with Ford Engine Red stripes.
