Connery was born on August 24, 1930, he starred in his first bond movie, Dr. No, in 1962. Roger Moore was supposed to be the first Bond, but because he had a contract with another studio at the time Connery got the opportunity. He starred 6 real Bond movies, 7 if you count Never Say Never Again, which was just a crappy remake of Thunderball. Connery is still a successful actor that appears in many movies.
