From Russia With Love is hailed by many as the finest Bond film, and the one that most closely reflects Ian Fleming's novels. Too bad I can't share the sentiment. The film has never intrigued me and quite often proved to be a struggle to finish through. Daniela Bianchi doesn't do anything for me as the Bond girl, the plot is either too complex or not compelling enough. The locations lack intrigue and mystery. The soundtrack is uninspiring. Read the book. Skip the film.
