The Lewinskys History

The Lewinskys have been around the valley scene scince October of 1998.But, there is mre history behind them that almost a year of great songs.Around the summer of 1997, guitarist Brad Luknowsky started jamming a few good songs with a few people.Among those people were Colin Wagner and Andrew Gormley.Unfourtunately Brad moved away to BC for a year, but the band that he practiced with still held together, With the name Intensity.About 3 or 4 months later Adam Baxter and Dennis Spencer started their first real punk rock project by the name of The McVeighs.But due to their dislike of the name with in 1 week the name was changed to Rage Against Charlie Sheen.This band lasted a whopping 3 months, playing only 3 shows.After that Adam and Dennis started many failing bands that never played any shows at all.Then around October of 1998 Brad Luknowsky was back from BC, Intensity was through, and Dennis and Adam had nothing going at all.But Just by chance of fate these 5 young lads were all enrolled in the same first semester consumer education class.When they first jammed Adam and Brad thought nothing of it (Dennis was not part of the band yet).But when Colin asked the most astonishing question anyone could ever hear was "Hey, do you wanna start a punk rock band?". Brad and Adam were like "Do we???".So they jammed 2 or 3 times and decided that they have to get a singer. Dennis was the first choice and a damn good choice at that.And from there they have broken up once but that is in the past and all they have is a bright future ahead of them.

Now, with the departure of Brad Luknowsy to Victoria BC, The Lewinskys had to find a new guitarist or a new bassist.Within a week, they moved R-Buckle to 2nd guitar and Ryan walker took over the bassing duties.The Lewinskys now have played a tone of shows, wrote a lot of new great songs and put out a kick ass record.The Lewinskys are looking towards a Bright future :) Bands that members of the Lewinskys have been in
