(Also Known As Trying To Piece Together Logan's Past)

Prior to World War Two (Before 1939)

1700s - Wolverine 86

A complicated story to say the very least. However, in a nutshell, the Logan and Forge from the 1990s timeframe do the 'time warp' to follow a time string back to the Canadian wilderness of the Eighteenth Century to fight against an ancient mystic called The Adversary.

The two of them join a tribe of Siksika that are against The Adversary, who had taken over a Siksika shaman called Man-Killer Wolf and was leading a faction of Siksika. It is in the middle of a fight between the divided Siksika tribe that three other time travelers get dumped into the mix - Elsie Dee, Albert and Hunter In Darkness (all of whom were sent back in time courtesy of Spiral). The three join the fight on the side of Forge's tribe and the five are briefly reunited.

Just how long Logan and Forge lived with this tribe is never mentioned, but it was obviously long enough for the tribe to both fully accept the two men and for Forge to be acknowledged as the tribe's shaman. So, going by that, they must have been there for several months at the very least.

The return of Man-Killer Wolf to try and capture Forge for The Adversary cuts short the exchange of stories between the group. The combined return attack of Logan and Forge drive Man-Killer Wolf out of the village.

Forge and Logan opt to follow Man-Killer Wolf to the waterfall even though they know it's a trap.

Elsie, Albert and Hunter in Darkness (who Elsie calls 'Puppy') are asked to stay behind and watch over the Siksika tribe while Logan and Forge are gone - of course, none of them had any idea that their battle with The Adversary would cause a temporal displacement that throws Logan and Forge into a time vortex that throws both of them back forward in time.

Hunter in Darkness, Elsie Dee and Albert are all left stranded back in the 1700s (which is, as they say, another story).
