Heading to Japan after not being allowed to speak to her over the phone, Logan finally found out from an old frined, Asano Kimura, that Mariko's father, Lord Shingen had returned and given Mariko's hand in marriage to Noburu Hideki as payment of a debt. Needless to say, Logan didn't take it gracefully.
