Archie Corrigan

Last update: 04 Apr 2002

Archie Corrigan. Madripoor resident and highly skilled pilot. Employed by Tyger Tiger, he and Logan hung around in one form or another until his death.

He had an older brother, Burt, who Logan met when he tagged along with Archie to attend a competancy hearing in San Francisco. It was the beginning of the Gehenna Stone Affair (Wolverine 11 thru 16).

Archie: "Say, Patch... why not come with me?"
Logan: "'Cause it's none of my flamin' business, that's why. Why should I go to San Francisco? It's not like I left my heart there."
Archie: "But you have a way with people."
Logan: "So does a Lowtown street-walker."

Logan: "Where's Burt?"
Archie: "We had an argument. He was becoming obsessive about that stone, saying we had to find the whole thing. He --"
Logan: "Don't you get it? He was right about everything. The Gehenna stone does exist, and as it gets reassembled, every individual outstanding piece gets stronger. And it brings out the worst in whoever's been near it. 'Cept me, cause I'm always nasty."

Archie: "Yakuza. Japanese gangerster. A whole bus-load. The one in front is staring at your back as if you dated his sister and left her tied to the tree."
Logan: "Oh, them? I smelled them a block away. Better get scarce, Corrigan."
Archie: "I hear you."
