Older brother of Archie Corrigan. Left a fortune by their father, he's rich enough that you should be able to consider him eccentric - but he's a bit far gone for that mild a term. Some people watch movies, Burt lives them. To quote Archie: "He gets obsessed with a film and starts living it. He's been Sam Spade, Sherlock Holmes, Tarzan.... worst was Dorothy from 'Wizard of Oz'."

Logan met Burt when he tagged along with Archie to attend a competancy hearing on Burt's ability to handle his own affairs. It was the beginning of the Gehenna Stone Affair (Wolverine 11 thru 16).

Logan: "Get down! Everybody!" Archie: "Aw no! It can't be! He thinks he's Harrison Ford! Burt, where in the blue blazes did you get a horse?" Burt: "I don't know, I'm making this up as I go!" (Wolverine, Vol. 1, No. 11 - September 1989)

Archie: "Speaking of Burt, I'm really getting worried about him. What if he never turns up?" Logan: "Believe me, Arch, if your crazy brother could handle vampire hordes and demon monsters, he can handle anything. Here's to Burt Corrigan, wherever... and whoever... he may be."
