As a non-Japanese citizen, Logan had little chance of changing Amiko's custodian. So despite his other feelings toward the Silver Samurai, Logan agreed to give him the honor sword of Clan Yashida in exchange for him pulled the political strings. Logan also made it part of the deal that Harada had to see to Amiko's welfare.
