Owner and operator of South Seas Skyway out of Madripoor. The initial connection between Arch and Logan was their mutual dealings with Tyger Tiger, but the pair developed a friendship that went beyond that. Logan and Archie were friends, but not extremely close. As Logan says, "There are friends and there are friends." Archie was in the first category.

Archie and several other of Logan's friends were killed at the place in Madripoor that seems to be a magnet - The Princess Bar - the place originally opened by Seraph. All the bar patrons were killed with claws, but not Logan's. It was a set-up orchestrated from higher up, but pulled off by General Coy's men, Imak and Ivan (who were both outfitted with fake claws to mock the look of the real things).
