Chang

Death In: Wolverine #5 - March 1989

"This operation was supposed to be a cakewalk. Or at least that's what Chang told me. He has a habit of misrepresentin' the truth sometimes. Hooked up with him after the war when I was lookin' for some quick an' easy bucks... lookin' to see the world... an' make a name for myself."
(Logan: Path of the Warlord)

They met when Chang recruited him as an agent for Landau, Luckman and Lake - a group Logan himself describes as "a real mysterious group that specializes in all kinds o' shady stuff". Chang was what LL&L refers to as an expeditor - which seems to mean one part office manager, one part spy and one part nanny.

Chang kept extensive files on Logan - keeping track of him even through the times when he forgot who he was himself.

Logan: Path of the Warlord

The last regional LL&L office that Chang worked out of was located in Madripoor on the Street of the Drunken God, Lowtown. Chang's death was the direct result of his helping Jessica "Spiderwoman" Drew and Lindsey McCabe, who had been entrusted by Logan to protect Tyger Tiger. His office was torn apart by Roughouse and then he was drained of blood by Bloodsport. Wolverine, Vol. 1, No. 6
