[Chapter 1: Car Trouble]

TJ walked out to her car. Stuff in her life lately was making no sense what so ever. She had lost her best friend and the love her life, Stew Sharwood. They were together all during high school. About 6 months ago Stew and Jennie, her best friend were on their way to meet her and they were in an accident with a semi and was killed instantly. TJ was devastated.

TJ turned on the engine to her car, but it wouldn't turn over. "Just great! This is so freakin' great," She yelled. Then she saw a guy walking towards her '95 Mustang.

"Excuse me miss, do you need a lift?" the guy said smiling at her. He was younger than her, but for some reason he looked familiar.

"I don't want to trouble you," she said to him. It's not like she couldn't walk home or just walk over to Kenzie's and help out at the restaurant.

"No trouble at all," he said with a bigger smile on his face.

"How bout you drop me of at a place call Kenzie's Diner on 17th Street?"

"Ok," he said. Walked her over to his candy apple red Benz. He opened the door for her then drove her to Kenzie's.

TJ's View~~~

"Thank you,' I said when we reached the diner.

"Why don't I buy you something to eat?" he said smiling at me.

"That's ok really. You've been so nice to me. I should be the one buying you dinner," I said to him.

"Ok then you will. Is the food good here?"

"Yes it is," I said and we walked in. The guy noticed a car in the parking lot. The car's license plate said Superman on it.

"By the way my name is Justin. Justin Timberlake, yours?" he said politely still with the smile on his face.

"It's TJ Randolph. It's nice to meet you Justin Timberlake." I said with a smile. That might have been the first real smile I had in weeks. We walked in and one of the hostess who I knew sat us down even though there was people in front of us.

We walked over to the booth she sat us at.

"Hey Justin," a male voice called from behind me.

"Hey Joe. What you doing here?"

"Eating, you?' he said.

"Eating with this beautiful young lady, TJ," he said and I blushed with those words.

"I'm Joey Fatone. Nice to meet you TJ." he said kissing my hand.

"You too Joey, why don't you join us?" I asked him.

"Only if you'll let Jc join too," he said.

"Ok," I said. He walked off to get the other guy.

They came back and I met Jc. He seemed really sweet.

"Tell us about yourself, TJ.," Jc said.

"What do you want to know?" I ask.

"Oh anything age, do u have a job if you do where do you work, likes, dislikes and by chance your number," Justin said.

I looked at him unsure about how to feel. "Okay I'm Teri Jo Randolph or better known as TJ. I'm 21 years old. I work at the place where my cars at. 'Next Generation' the magazine I am the founder, editor, and sometimes journalist of the magazine. I love the Atlanta Braves, Christmas time, SHOPPING AND MORE. I don't like guys who think with just a smile and charm that they will get a girl. I hate the song "God Must Have Spent A Little More Time On You" for personal reasons, and I hate semi truck drivers who are stupid enough to drink and drive," I said not realizing I would offend anyone.

"Well, thats awesome bout the magazine. We were there for you to take pics of us the group N Sync who sings that song you mentioned. Why you hate our song?" Jc inquired.

"Guys I'm sorry I'm having an awful day and I actually love the time but it brings up painful memories of my boyfriend. He dedicated that song to me on our 6 year anniversary 3 months ago. Then he was driving my best friend Jennie home because it was his sister and a drunk driver in a semi truck hit them and killed them." I said crying.
