Mrs. Pattaya Kaewsarn was born in Ubon Ratchathani, Thailand. She got a bachelor of Nursing from Ubon Nursing Colledge, Thailand in 1987. She worked as a nurse in the Sappasitiprasong Ubon Rachathani Hospital for 4 years and then transferred to Ubon Ratchathani University as a director of the Day Care and Health Service Center. In 1998, she graduated from Griffith University with a Master of Nursing. She is currently studying at Griffith University for the Ph.D degree under the sponsorship of Royal Thai Government. After her completion, she will work at the Sarabury Nursing Colledge, Thailand.
She married with Pairat and have three children (Quan, Jom and Kathy).
