Episode 18
Hayate is working on a portable computer (he's trying to do something that involves musical scales). Ace and the others, including Reiko and Tsubasa are all there. Hayate closes the computer in frustration.
He later walks down the street and passes by Fujimaru, recognizing him. He changes direction and follows him to a recording studio (Station Q). Hayate follows Fujimaru inside and sees him playing complicated scales on his keyboards. Fujimaru looks up and sees Hayate. They sit down and have a can of juice together, talking about music. Hayate has a brief mental image of his bandmates jumping into the air with silly faces. Fujimaru remembers what Kazuya said when he was standing by the window in a previous episode and seems saddened by it.
The blue-haired female demon is back with another weird little demon of her making (the one that lost the game to the frog demon in the previous episode). At the concert hall, she turns herself into a human-looking woman.
Reiko bursts into the room where the Angels are waiting-she's all out of breath but excited. She's arranged for the Angels to perform with the Hearts on some music show. Ikazuchi is happy, Hayate is uncertain. The Hearts and the Angels run into each other in the hallway, and it looks like things might get ugly when Kirari arrives. Everyone relaxes, and even Kazuya and Hishou smile. All of them are next seen onstage together.
The weird little demon jumps down and knocks over Kazuya's guitar, then bounces off Kyle's drums and is gone so quickly no one sees him. Kazuya yells at Ikazuchi who was right beside the fallen guitar while Kyle yells at Ace, who was beside the drums. Kazuya decides they can't work with the Angels after all and he and his group leave the stage.
Fujimaru hesitates and spots the demon, goes running back to where Hayate is tracing evidence of the demon's footprints (the same prints were on the drums). The female demon sees that the boys have figured things out and allows a single drop of water to fall from her finger. It lands between the boys then envelopes them, trapping them inside. Hishou is in the hallway looking for Hayate, but can't see them in the tiny drop of water on the floor even though Hayate waves his arms around in an attempt to get his attention.
The Hearts, in their stage make-up and clothes, are wondering where Fujimaru is while the Angels are nearby, wondering the same thing about Hayate.
Inside the water drop, Fujimaru tells Hayate about God Reideen. The demon appears inside the water drop with them and gets bigger. We see Fujimaru's transformation into Reideen Dino (which looks like a pterodactyl in colors of blue, gold and dark green. He tries to punch the demon, but it's too fast. Hayate transforms into Reideen Falcon.
Kirari is onstage, the Angels and the Hearts watch as she talks to the audience. The Hearts go onstage and start to play. The Angels are onstage, too, posing. Dino hears the music. Hishou breaks formation suddenly and grabs Kazuya by the collar. Kazuya pulls Hishou's hand away from himself. The audience is getting restless. Kirari goes out onstage and starts singing "Love Is" accapella. Everyone calms down.
The demon inside the water drop hears it as well and the song causes it pain. Falcon Arrow and Dino Blizzard (which looks like a big tornado) are used against the demon. The two attacks combine and hurt the demon. Both Reideens turn into their bird-plane forms and destroy it and the water drop.
Kirari is still singing. Fujimaru appears backstage in make-up and stage clothes to join the Hearts while Hayate returns to the Angels. They all go onstage, the Hearts play and the Angels dance. Everyone seems to have a temporary truce while they back up Kirari (who's still singing the same song...) Fujimaru and Hayate seem to be thinking about how well the two groups play together and could work together if they tried.
Meanwhile, the female demon is caught by Lúci. She tries to attack him before he can get her, but it doesn't work, and she loses her arm, then disintegrates entirely.
The Angels sit on the roof that night, Hishou and Hayate talk.
