The first thing i would like to say, i have no problems with Student Council. Only thir poiclet, and some of their chater's that are in and on the Councal. Some thing's that i say may be forther from the truth. I like Student Councal, to tell the truth i was going to be a part of the Council. So if you who are on the Councal and find your name on hear it only because you as a member deserve to have it on hear, and don't think it all going to be suger coded because i unlike most people do not lie and cover up the truth. And boy oh boy the truth hurth like a bitch!
Now less get down to bunisness. I will first go in to The Constitution Of Charles P. Allen High School Students' Council. Article #2 states The purpose of the Students' Council is to take all interests into account and to respresent the majority of the student body. This is to sospose to be the objective? Since when did the Council ever do a student pole to gather information on how many people wanted to have a dance that had music that was all tenco or rap. If thay had of ask me i would have had music like Deep Puprle, AC,DC, Nirvana or even White Zombie. It's these kinds of thing that the Councl would say, Nobody want's to hear that trash. or who the hell is that band. And have you ever been to one of our Halloween dance's? Whell you would think that it would have a Halloween theam and music. And last year do you rember having a all night dance??? That right niether did i do you want to know why?? Well i heard lost of reason and the most popular one is that their was not enouth money and that the Council was over budiget when it came to dances. And if that is not enough most dances will not play requst's. (And i am still wahting to hear White Zombie song I'm Your Boogie Man and More Human Than Human.) I know that when ging to a dance i cant hear all the soung's i want to hear but eacth time, i think it time to change the DJ.Article #3-3.3 says Students who have graduated are not eligible to run for any Students' Council position. Now do i need to say anthing elese. This cut anyone who has graduated and are returing back to school. (This Sucks!!) Article #5-5.1 Section A-GTo develop a harmonious working environment amongst all Cabinet members. I have been told by other members that Jeremy Strong is not a very big people person. He put down other members and will give up frindes just to kiss ass. -5.3 Section C-A,F a)To present all financial matters to the Cabinet. and f)To present a complete financial report to the Council once a month. I am picking on this one because it is my opion that theas two part's of the Constitution go on look at. I did some cheaking and it seems that the only way you can get a look at some of the financial matters is if you keep asking. Their has only been two financial reports the whole year. The only resone that their was two was because i ask and the Council screth their head's and said Humm we need a update. and one week after i ask their it was and that saved their ass for a nother mounth. The first time someone ask was Will Matheson back in November and when i ask was in February. The big qustion hear is do they have one out now. For thoes who care the treasurer name is -----, i only give you this name because i think we as the Student Body nave the right to complane and to be let know where our money is going. Article #6-6.1To voice the interests and concerns of the students of the grade they represent. I don't have much to write about this one because i think that the grade representatives are doing a fine job at what they are doing. The only prolbem is they would rather tell you how to be then to ask you what you think. And the representatives sometimes only ask their frindes, what's thear opion. I can't speak for all the Student when i say i aculty like the since's on the wall that say "Know You're Role And Go To The Dance." They got me puzzaled, i like the odd poster avtredson a dance but not the same slogin eatch time. (Yes i love Wersling to deth. And that's to all the people who think other wise.) Article #8-8.2To publicize all school events by means of posters, etc. I all ready explaned that one so i will spare you as not to repeat me self. 8.4To project an image of Charles P. Allen High School that will be reflective of school's motto- "Strive for Excellence". To get to the point i think we need to change the motto, it too old and less face it not true anymore. Article #9-9.2Meeyings shall be open to any member of the student body, except when there are "close door" discussion. What causes a close door dicuussion you might ask, whell the answer is Student of the week or as i liked to call it gess who can kiss the most ass this week awarded. The only people who win are frinends of the Student Council. Now some realy deserve it like Greg Baker or Sandra Butt and that's because they realy do. They put their all into that The Charles P. Allen Perspective, one of the best pepers on the planet. (Sorry to most of thoes who realy desarve it.) Artcle #10-10.2The President also has a 'tie-breaker vote' whicth may only be used if the vote (equal). Therefore, entitling the President to have two votes. This say's to me, "To much power for the darkside of the force." This means that if Jeremy does not like you then you'r motiom goes out the door. Artcle #14-14.2No outside organization may raise money in the school involving the student body or during school hours without first the consent of Principal and Cabinet. This one suck too much for me to let go! The school has too much power but their are loop holes which include underground newspaper and web pages whitch are made. (Ha,Ha,Ha. You never get all of us.) 14.7School dances are the sole monoply of the Students' Council. This is total shit! Later i will show you other places where the Council makes money 14.8 The sale of student I.D. cards. Any students who have not paid a student card fee will not be able to participate inany organization which is sponsored or subsidized by the Students' Council. With all the money the Council makes i think they could over look a few people who did not pay up.
