IDENTIFICATION             Large round grille badge with a gold coloured 'D' in the centre. Bumper over riders are wide and do not have a rubber insert. Tail lights have a large round stop light lens. Side badges say 'Bluebird', rear badge says 'Datsun'. Unitary construction, R/B steering, double wishbone front suspension, leaf spring rear suspension, telescopic shock absorbers, 4 wheel drum brakes.
E-1 engines from 280170 to 547143 have the oil pressure relief valve located on the engine block. 
E-1 engines from 547144 onwards have the oil pressure relief valve located on the oil filter housing.
