Mark Stephen Kean was born on the 15th of May 1959 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. He is the son of Aubrey Knee Kean and Daisy Lillian Power. NOTE: Ralph and Myrtle Anthony of Kempt Shore, Hants County, Nova Scotia were foster parents to Mark and Ann Marie Kean from 1964, and to David Kean from 1972. Mark, Ann and David remained with the Anthony's until adulthood and remained in close contact with them all their lives. He married Pamela Laila Doreen Kay on the 25th of November 1978 in Thunder Bay, Ontario. She was born on the 11th of January 1960 in Port Arthur, Ontario.
