December 27, 2005 – Well another great Christmas has come and gone. I am pleased to say that I got through just about every Christmas special, and was able to spend some time with my friends from away. Although the egg roll eating contest may not have been the best of ideas. Anyway, we always leave our Christmas decorations up for a week or so after Christmas, so I will keep the ones up here on the site too. And after that, some huge changes! The New Year will bring a new beginning for this site, so keep your eyes open. And of course, it never hurts to check the Tape Trading section, as there’s some great stuff headed that way. So, we’ve got a short update here, featuring my year-end WWE Awards. Enjoy!
December 15, 2005 – Its amazing what I will do for a Christmas special. Case in point, last week when My Name Is Earl presented it’s first Christmas episode. I had been looking forward to it for two weeks, and naturally, I had to work the night it was on. No problem, right? I could easily set up the VCR and tape it. However, we just got a new VCR, and everybody screws up the first time they try to program a show in. I attempted to overcome this, but alas, I could not. When I got home, I found that I had taped 30 minutes of static. As exciting as that was, I was slightly annoyed. So what do I do? My Name Is Earl only appears on NBC, so its not like I could just tape it on a different channel...or could I? There was only one solution, call my satellite provider, and order the West Coast channels. So, for an extra $5 a month, I was able to tape the Seattle broadcast of My Name Is Earl. And man oh man, what an episode! Still, looking back at this wacky caper, its pretty obvious that I may have had too much Egg Nog. Not that it matters, because I stand by my choice. Anyway, the Christmas special marathon is going well, and I’m a little bit over half way there. There are still some great ones to go, including G.I. Joe, Hey Arnold and the never before seen by me He-Man/She-Ra Christmas Special. And let’s not forget my annual Christmas Eve tradition of playing the Christmas level of Army Men: Sarge’s Heroes for N64. There’s nothing more Christmas-y than setting those Tan bastards on fire with a blowtorch. But I digress. This week’s Christmas update features another Christmas SuperQuiz to cram down your chimney. Sure, it’s a bit thin this week, but somebody has to watch the Rocko’s Modern Life and Back To The Future Christmases. Ho Ho Ho!
November 27, 2005 - The Christmas season has officially begun. And while stressed out shoppers brave overcrowded retail establishments, I sit back and smile. But it should be known that just because I finished all of my Christmas shopping, earlier than usual, that doesn’t mean that there still isn’t a ton of things that I have to get done. For example, I have well over 100 Christmas specials that I have to watch before Christmas Day. From Mario to Spongebob, and He-Man and the Smurfs, just about everything is here. Don’t believe me? Just click here to go directly check it out yourself. Plus, thanks to this very site, and the many tape trades that I have made, I will be watching some awesome specials for the very first time, including Ghostbusters, Darkwing Duck, and Christmas Comes To Pacland, just to name a few. Hopefully my Christmas episode of You Can’t Do That On Television will arrive before Santa does. Plus, there’s all the Christmas snacks that I have to get out, including Holiday Rice Krispies, After Eight mints, and all those Keebler cookies. I’m just glad that I stocked up on Egg Nog and Wild Cherry Pepsi to wash them all down. Let’s see, this week’s update allows you to test your Holiday Special aptitude in the all new Christmas SuperQuiz! Also, I reveal the 10 Christmas Specials that are on my Must Watch List. Without them, there would be no Christmas. Seriously.
November 11, 2005 – Today we spell redemption, M-A-T-T! I finally tracked down the episode of Ghostbusters when Slimer got sucked into a TV! It took 15 years, but it was well worth it! Anyway, it has been a pretty intense few weeks to say the least. My trip to X was totally awesome, and clearly a good time was had by all. From costume parties to trick or treating, and even Bumfights 3, we did it all. Sadly the Mario Bros. Costumes did not work out, so the Ghostbusters made another appearance, and once again gained the admiration of the entire campus. Just about everyone showed up to the local watering hole’s costume party, including the Disney Princesses, Pee-Wee Herman, Lara Croft, Supergirl, Napoleon Dynamite and Ron Burgundy and the entire Channel 4 News Team. I still can’t get over this one house though. We knocked on the door and several hot girls answered. I looked at this one girl, all dressed in pink, and asked if she was Jem. The group literally squealed that I knew who they were. Truly outrageous, and freakin’ hot too! I also had my first cigar, in which I am pictured with below. I just couldn’t stop laughing. From there, I took another visit to Bangor, Maine, where I got a ton of Christmas gifts. I still can’t get over the variety Christmas treats down there. And the cheap gas! In other news, Christian has quit the WWE, which in my opinion is the biggest loss they’ve had in the last few years. The guy was easily more over than Edge, yet given half the breaks and not shoved down people’s throats. I predict he’ll make quite the name for himself in TNA, which could lead to a Heavyweight Championship reign within the next year. As well, I have some big trades going down in the next little while, so keep an eye on the tape trading section. Onto this week’s update, which features an incredibly bizarre dream that I had recently, and a look at some fun shenanigans from my graduating year in high school. It may even give you some ideas for pranks of you own!
October 13, 2005 - I can’t believe how long it has been since I updated the site. I’d like to say that I was doing something important to warrant such a delay, but nothing really comes to mind. Dok was so hilarious this past Sunday. I decided to give him a little Thanksgiving dinner on top of his regular kibble. A little turkey, mashed potatoes, and gravy. He gobbles the food up, but then starts spitting out his kibble. He did this until only his kibble was left, and then promptly came back to me for more food. I’ve been keeping up with the Baseball playoffs lately, and expect the Cardinals to take it this year. Sadly after the World Series is over, hockey will still be on...for another 8 months or so. Wooooo! If I hear one more reporter give Sidney Crosby the verbal BJ, I’ll freak out. I also recently updated my myspace profile with a new pic of me in my leather jacket and red Chuck Taylors. It’s worth a looksee. Fine! I’ll even link it here. Lazy! In other news, Teletoon will be running episodes of the Real Ghostbusters for the 13 days before Halloween. I can only hope that they play the episode where Slimer gets sucked into the TV. I’ve been trying to track it down for some time now. The crummy thing is that I used to have it on tape, but SOMEBODY taped over it, with a movie that I hated, that they never watched! You know who you are...Michelle! Anyway, I have a special Halloween related update this week, because I doubt I’ll get another update before the end of the month. We’ve got reviews of Garfield’s Halloween, Smackdown Halloween 2002, and I reminisce about Halloweens past. Hey, I was just thinking, does anybody actually like those candy kisses? I don’t believe I’ve ever met anyone that’s liked them. They’re the first thing that gets chucked after I sort my candy, followed shortly by rockets. Unless I can trade them for something better. Chicklets maybe? Oh yeah, and be sure to check out my pictures section for the Polaroid of me with the Honky Tonk Man. Another proud moment for the Czar!
September 22, 2005 - Well, the big news is that Honky Tonk Man is coming to Berwick tomorrow! And unlike last time, I have transportation and will actually be able to see him! Hmmm, its hard to follow up something that big. Let’s see, I finally watched Tron for the first time last night. It was different, but I must say, quite enjoyable as well. It took a few minutes to realize what the heck was going on, but after that, woooo! I also had the fortune to pick up Season Three of Family Guy for the low low price of $25 at Wal-Mart. Needless to say, I was rather pleased. And for the third week in a row, Friday Night Smackdown has been pre-empted by a Red Sox game. I’m getting pretty tired of that. I’ll be happy when the season is over. In other cruddy news, as predicted on this very site a few months back, Muhammad Hassan has been released by the WWE. Its quite sad, because he was so close to becoming a superstar. Even the Undertaker was going to do the job to him…by interference of course, but still. If those liberal media types had half a brain, they’d be dangerous. While on the topic of wrestling, and after all, aren’t I always, I had the pleasure of picking up Hulk Hogan and Ultimate Warrior Wrestling Buddies at Value Village for $2 each. I couldn’t believe it, considering that they were in beautiful condition as well. Usually something that good has to have some sort of catch, like some kid puked on it or something gross of that nature. Anyway, onto this week’s update. I have a review of more awesome cars from the 80s, and a special look at Star Wars lightsabre spoons found in specially marked boxes of Kelloggs cereal. Mmmm, I could go for some Smacks right now. Excuse me.
September 10, 2005 - Wow, Bangor was awesome as always. Not only did I pick up the classic WWF World and IC Championships, but also Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Belt. I didn’t even realize that they made a replica of his title. I was also really impressed by Target, and Taco Bell’s Chalupa was awesome. So tasty! I wish I had another one right now. And let’s not forget my trip to the supermarkets! Sadly, I think they may have discontinued Waffle Crisp Cereal though. Also, I was able to pick up copies of Dumb and Dumber, DC Cab, and V: The Final Battle. I still can’t get over the prices down there. Dumb and Dumber is $17 here, and I got it there for $8. Ah, life is grand! In other news, Smackdown has been moved to Friday Nights, and already it has been pre-empted twice on the same day. I think that has to be a record. First, there was the Hurricane Benefit concert, and then a Boston/New York baseball game. I don’t like where this is going. Besides, things have been interesting lately with the Mexicools and Mr. Kennedy...Kennedy! Hmmm, not much else going on. Oh yeah, Wendy’s has finally brought back the Bacon Mushroom Melt for a limited time only! I had one tonight and man oh man, it was great. Anyway, this week I have a full report on the happenings of SussexSpite 2, and a look at why some people worship celebrities. Be sure to check out the tape trading section, as I have added a new section with all of my 80s shows with original commercials.
Special Update...or procrastination - August 17, 2005 - Looks like my special training for SussexSpite 2 has taken up all of my free time. I should hope that by tomorrow, all of my situps and Wild Cherry Pepsi showers will pay off. The update, including the results of NES Showdown will be posted soon. Believe me, it'll be worth the wait!
August 23, 2005 – Wow-wee, SussexSpite2 was a huge success! From Ma’s snoring to overpriced Talking Pee Wee Hermans, and fire, fire everywhere, this trip had it all. Expect a huge report on everything that went down this past weekend in my next update. Believe me, it’ll be worth it just to see what I got. The end of summer is near, and that means I head back to one of my favorite cities, Bangor, Maine, for a well-deserved vacation. You can bet my cupboards will filled with exotic cereals and Keebler cookies in no time. Saw Fantastic Four at the Drive In the other day, and I was rather pleased with it. Ben Grimm absolutely made the movie for me! Much better than Spidey 2 from last year. In other news, tape trading is heating up, and I should have some new 80s commercials tapes ready in the next little while. So the big update is finally here! In addition to an article about Spider Food and the latest Flea Market Finds, we have the results of the Showdown between Pro Wrestling and Tecmo World Wrestling. One’s things for sure, NES wrestling will never be the same! Yeah I know that Vince and Bret have nothing to do with NES Showdown, but that’s one awesome pic. Frankly I used to think we’d see Owen come back before we’d see Bret.
August 2, 2005 – Well, it seems that the summer is almost over. I was informed of this as I walked into the local Wal-Mart. Back to school stuff reared its ugly head only three weeks into July. Back when I was in the younger grades, I absolutely hated Back to School sales, because the last thing I wanted to think about was school. The only really good thing about Back to School shopping was picking out a backpack and lunch box. I still remember proudly picking out G.I. Joe, Ninja Turtles, and Dick Tracy Lunch boxes. It really makes me sad because kids today really don’t have a variety of licensed character school supplies. Kids are growing up way too fast and they’re 8 year old girls would rather dress like sluts than buy Strawberry Shortcake Lunchbags. I also find it creepy that for the first time since 1989, I won’t be going to school this September. I expect that feeling to get even creepier as we get closer to the new school year. In other news, thanks to myopic network executives and so-called journalists, WWE has pulled the plug on Muhammad Hassan, who was in the middle of the push of a lifetime. Instead of actually looking at the Hassan character for what he is, an Arab American who uses his heritage to his advantage or as an excuse, they automatically assumed he was a terrorist straight from the Middle East. The height of this controversy took place the same day as the first London bombings when masked men, looking like terrorists, which accompanied Hassan, attacked the Undertaker. Many felt that in light of the day’s events, the WWE was out of line. The only minor detail was that the event had been taped two days BEFORE the attacks! But the damage was already done, as newspapers and the associated press ran with the story, giving WWE nothing but negative publicity. Sadly, the Great American Bash will likely be Hassan’s last appearance, and I predict that he will be released in OVW, with little fanfare. Utter bullshit! In better news, I received three new shirts from 80stees.com and they totally rock. In addition to my Cobra Logo, I got Whammy and Ronald Reagan Shirts. Plus, I have a number of huge tape trades in the works, so stay tuned to the Tape Trading section. Oh right, the update! Let’s see, we’ve got reviews of the Super Mario Bros 3 toys from McDonalds, as well as an episode of Space Cats. Plus there’s still time to vote on the biggest crossover since Jay Sherman met the Simpsons, Pro Wrestling vs. Tecmo World Wrestling!
July 10, 2005 – In an interesting follow-up to my article on Canadian attitudes towards Americans, it seems has that several American cars were targeted this past Canada Day in Halifax. One car was pelted with food and garbage, while another had a window smashed, both from Massachusetts on Grafton Street in Halifax. The cars surrounding both damaged cars were all from Nova Scotia, and unharmed. Now that’s what I call diplomacy! I wouldn’t blame them if they never came back to Nova Scotia. And maybe they’ll tell their friends too! Its not like Nova Scotia relies on Tourism for too much. Man, people need to grow up, and piss off. In other news, WWE released a ton of superstars. I’m not going to list their names, but you can find them here. Personally I think that it is a good sign to get rid of a lot of the clutter. The Dudleyz haven’t done anything of note in recent years, so its probably for the best. I am sad to see Kidman and Haas go, because I think they both could have been involved in awesome feuds. Haas vs. Benjamin, and Kidman in a Macho Man like relationship with Torrie. He could have been a quality US Title contender. It bugs me too, cause they spent so much time pushing him and the Shooting Star Press, with no payoff. Personally, I think Steph needs to be released from her writing duties, and I know that’s not just me. If a writer can’t write a storyline for a wrestler, they obviously don’t belong there. Anyway, this week’s articles include My Wacky Warehouse Payoff, and a look at Saturday Mornings in the 80s. All that, plus your chance to vote on which NES wrestling games was better, Tecmo World Wrestling or Pro Wrestling. The choice is yours!
June 28, 2005 - I knew this day would come. Wild Cherry Pepsi is available for a limited time. That limited time may be up. Therefore I now have to go to every local establishment that carries Pepsi products, and buy as much Wild Cherry that I can. It’ll be like that episode of Seinfeld when Elaine was looking all over Manhattan for the sponges. Mind you, this is waaaaaaay more important that birth control. This is Wild Cherry Pepsi, and frankly, I’m not ready to go back to hording and rationing. In other news, Mike Tyson has officially retired. I smell reality series, or at the very least, a spot on the Surreal Life. Man TV sucks. Tape Trading continues to pick up, so keep your eyes peeled on that section. There is one new 80s commercial tape, and I expect to have at least 2 more finished within the next month. That’s reason enough to stay tuned. This week’s update includes another volume of Flea Market Finds, and my 1993 Journal. It’s great! Also, be sure to keep any eye on the site, as I have a huge article planned for the next update. And it won’t take three weeks to get it up! Promise!
June 8, 2005 - What a great time to look into my mailbox. Not only did I get the last three issues of Alpha Flight, a book I’ve been collecting since 1998, but I also got a bunch of tapes from a few fellow tape traders. I expect that several parts of the tape trading section will be updated in the following weeks. Lots of wrestling, Christmas cartoons, commercials, and the last Nitro. I just can’t get over how bad those shows from 2000 were. Not that they aren’t fun to watch though. In addition I got to see a variety of wrestling from 1986 including the Orndorff heel turn, the Machines, and Adrian Adonis. For a guy wearing a dress, he was quite the badass. In other news, we have a bunch of yard sales to check out this weekend, so I could have another Flea Market Finds up in no time. This week’s update includes a special look at NBC’s Saturday Mornings from the 80s, a rant on Canadian/American Attitudes, and the legend of Condom-Ania! It’ll be like this generation’s Moon Landing!
May 27, 2005 - So I saw Star Wars the other night, and I must say that I was very pleased with it. I won’t give anything away, but I can tell you that this movie was so good, that it caused me to like the other two prequels more than I did before. After watching it, I was thinking it’d be nice to get a Yoda Stuffy. It didn’t have to be from Empire or Jedi, like I would normally want, but it didn’t make any difference. Those things are EXPENSIVE! I think I’ll wait a little while for the buzz to wear down before I look again. In other news, Tape Trading seems to be picking up, and I can’t wait to add more shows to my collection. If you haven’t checked it out yet, take a looksee. The Valley’s Annual Apple Blossom Festival is this weekend, assuming that we all don’t float away! We have to be getting close to like 2 weeks of on again/off again rain here in New Minas. The only good thing about it is that the Carnies might finally have a bath, as they are back again to stink up the Mall’s parking lot. This week’s update includes my latest Flea Market Finds, Team America as a Babysitter, and a look at the current state of the Wacky Warehouse. I’d also like to give a shout out to Nick’s ladyfriend, Danielle, who will be joining us this summer. Apparently she’s visited the website before, so she’s ok in my books! We could have another Superior in our midst!
May 14, 2005 - I'm interested to see what happens shortly after I make this update. A few hours after my second last update, Molly Holly left the WWE, which was lousy. After my last update, I found out that Wild Cherry Pepsi had returned to Canada, which rocks. It came at a good time too, cause I had just finished my last can that I’d been saving. So, needless to say, I will be interested to see how things roll today. I am finding that the events surrounding the Superiors just can’t be made up. Take two Saturdays ago for example. We go out, looking for flea markets, and end up at an auction out at Coldbrook Elementary. It was a charity event, but the Hulk didn’t show. Anyway, we ended up sticking around, only to lose out on two Drive-In passes to some pesky parents. Just picture that for a second, kids and parents alike, bidding on various goods, and right in the middle of it are three young guys that nobody knows. Anyway, we slunk away after losing for the second time, and what do we find in the hallway? A definition for Superior, obviously meant for us. Nice to know we have fans in several key demographics. Then I bought biographies on Ronald Reagan and Mr. T, while Nick bought a confederate bandana. What? Like I said, you just can’t make this stuff up. Anyway, this week’s articles include a look at Batman Returns toys from McDonalds, a new regular feature on items we buy at flea markets, and a report on this past Wednesday’s Maritime Cup. Find out how by the end of the evening, the cup was renamed the Superior Cup! I pity the fool that doesn’t read on. Quit that jibber-jabber and get clicking, fool!
Special Update!
The Czar's Kingdom is happy to bring you exclusive pictures of the World's Greatest Laptop! These pictures have been deemed to be "Too Hot 4 Ebay" and probably would have crashed the site worldwide. You have the opportunity to bid on this penultimate computing treasure at the website below for the next seven days.
http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=31562&item=6765599093&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW
I urge you to bid early and often on this once in a lifetime opportunity. It is up to you to keep this marvel out of the hands of fiendish crinimal masterminds like Cobra Commander or Cy-Kill. Do not shirk your responsibility. Good luck and Godspeed!
Also, if you, or anyone looking at this page is easily blinded by awesomeness, please, AVERT YOUR EYES! This may be too much for you. The last thing I need is you going blind and not being able to read my awesome and clever articles, conveniently found below. HINT! HINT!
April 26, 2005 - I have finally made the move home and now look to fit all of my stuff back into my overcrowded room. It seems that some guys are going to lose their spots, so I’d be worried if I was anything non-80s. Anyway, I am finally finished University and am looking forward to another great summer. That brings me to my article, co-written by all of the Superiors, on Flea Markets, complete with helpful hints to sweeping Sweet Lady Flea Market right off her feet. I was pleased to find several items that I ordered off of ebay arrived the other day, including a can of New Coke, a Pee-Wee Herman figure MOC and a Ghostbusters Lunch Box. A sign of things to come. I also have an article of why G.I. Joes are better than Transformers. Also, be sure to check out my commercial auctions on ebay. Wooo! Cheap plug!
April 12, 2005 - Well, it seems that my website has pop-ups now, which sucks. Ah, the joys of using "free" website providers. I mean, they’re so annoying, and has anybody actually clicked on one, other than to close it? I can’t tell you how many "prizes" I’ve won or "singles in Halifax" that have popped up as I look at my favorite sites. My favorite ones are the "Pop-Up Blockers" that use pop-ups for advertising. Anyway, I think I’m either psychic or skeptical. I went to cash in my books yesterday (the first day) and they already had met their quota for the books I brought in, offering me the wholesale price of $15 for the two of them. I paid well over $150 for them, so that’s quite the insult. Its a good thing that I didn’t have an apple at the time, cause that certainly wasn’t cool. In other news, I’m gearing up for the Maritime Cup and the Honky Tonk Man, and this is officially my last week of school ever! I’m actually surprised at how fast this year went, and it’ll be nice to get home to the Valley. I was really shocked that Matt Hardy was released yesterday. Sure he could have been more private about everything, but it just doesn’t seem right that Edge and his whore are getting pushes, and Hardy loses his job. Anyway, this week’s update contains reviews of both Saturday Night's Main Event and the Legend of Zelda cartoon, as well as another look at the Best Vehicles of the 80s. Now that’s cool!
March 26, 2005 - Heyyy you guyyyyys! It seems that it has been a while since my last update. I suppose I could use the excuse that I had something gigantic planned for an update, but its just not true. It has been a month of ups and downs for me. The down being that I was unable to bid on being Kamala’s handler, Kimchee on ebay, as I have no way of getting to Illinois. The up though, is that I found out that the Greatest Intercontinental Champion of all time, the Honky Tonk Man will be touring Nova Scotia from April 15-23. I am so pumped about this, and will go to as many shows as possible in order to get a pic with Honky himself. In other news, local wrestling promoters are having a show in Kentville on May 4th with many of the old R.A.W. stars, including current TNA star, Bobby Rude. It’ll be nice to see some of the guys as its been a while since we all saw them. Sarah from Trailer Park Boys will also be on the show, so its really a can’t miss. I am happy to saw that I have finally won a can of New Coke, circa 1985, off of ebay. My 80s collection continues to grow, and I must say that I doubt I’ll have any room left in my room when I move back to the Valley after graduation. Also, WWE has been just awesome recently, and I’ve really enjoyed seeing old faces like Jake the Snake, Marty Jannetty, and Sensational Sherri. Wow, I never thought I’d say that six months ago. WrestleMania 21 should be pretty darn entertaining this year, and it will be nice to see it at the theater. Anyway, today’s update is awesome as always with a look back at the great "Toilet Paper Caper" from SMU and a review of my all-time favorite WrestleMania, that being WrestleMania IV. I also have a huge story on Riff from Sleepaway Camp which has to be read to believe. Would I lie?
March 8, 2004 - Well, I can finally pay off my DVD bill this week. I foolishly decided that since I work at Wal-Mart, why not put some stuff on layaway, pay a little off each paycheque, and get a pile of DVDs when I finish with them. I loaded up with Miami Vice Season One, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air Season One, The Goonies, and WWE No Mercy, Taboo Tuesday, and Survivor Series from last year. It seemed like a great idea, until after I paid the minimum payment, when they informed me that I had one month to pay. What? You mean its not like those Christmas Hampers that you see on TV? Ah, crap! Anyway, it’ll be nice to get them. Ma came home from up north last week, and picked me up a pair of Chuck Taylor Old School Red High Top Sneakers. I won’t wear them outside yet, but I can tell you that they totally rock. I had a pair of them back in the day, and it was nice to finally get them. Thanks Ma! I read an interesting article on weaintcool.com the other day, and found some similarities to my own experiences. While my reactions weren’t as extreme as his, there were some of the same characteristics that we shared. A good read for anybody that’s been jerked around by people. We’re four weeks away from WrestleMania 21, which should be great to see. Too bad we won’t get to see Matt Hardy fight Edge. Man that’s an incredible situation with them and Lita. Should be interesting to see where this goes. Anyway, this week’s update includes a tribute to the "Kids these days" forward, a review of an episode of the 80s cartoon, Dungeons and Dragons, and from the Horton Files, an article about me in February 2001. Also, there has been a big update to the commercials section in the tape trading section and some great new pics. Yeah!
February 27, 2005 - My Birthday is here, and I’m celebrating in style. I already opened up a bottle of Wild Cherry Pepsi, and I may watch some of the Jem DVD that I borrowed from the library. Plus there’s a Dog marathon on A&E this evening, so I’m all set. The Academy Awards are this evening, and I couldn’t care less. I never understood people’s interest in award shows. I mean, I love wrestling and all, but I wouldn’t care if Chris Jericho or Eddie Guerrero were given "Best Wrestler" awards. How is finding out that some voting board found Movie A better than Movie B entertaining. Sleepaway Camp never won an Oscar, but I still like it. In other news, the roadtrip to Yarmouth was loads of fun with me picking up Super Mario/Zelda and Ghostbusters comforters, as well as a pretty awesome Jean Jacket. I must say that I was pretty shocked by the price of McDonalds Breakfast Burritos went up, but as always, the Hot Cakes and sausage rocked! Anyway, we’ve got an interesting update this week, with a review of an AWA tape, as well as a profile on the best vehicles of the 80s. All that and the Lost Drewcasfilm script for the ill-fated Rasputin movie. It’ll be better than 10 Superbowls. I don’t want to oversell it, judge for yourself.
February 18, 2005 – You may notice some changes around here, cause frankly that sideframe was annoying the crap out of me. Its because of this that it took so long for a new update. Yeah that'll do. There’s something seriously wrong with the Internet. I did a google search the other day for images of Mr. Wendy and found everyone besides that moron. Mr. Bean, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Big Gay Al from South Park, People from the British TV show, "Are you being served", and a house that was on fire were some of the many images that came up. Well, that and this woman named Wendy, who hosted a "wet and wild" website. That wouldn’t be so bad, except that she looked like she had eaten at Wendy’s everyday for the last twenty years. Yikes! In other news, the NHL hockey season was cancelled yesterday, and I couldn’t care less. Its funny because this is basically a national crisis here in Canada, but nobody down South really seems to care, even though they have the majority of the teams. I can’t say that I have much sympathy for men that get paid millions of dollars to play the game they love, and then whine when the league tries to survive by making a salary cap. Bah, I don’t care. This week’s update is pretty darn good if I do say so myself, with the review of Sleepaway Camp 3, and a profile of Mr. Wendy. As an added bonus, I have the story of a school play that I was involved in back in 1997, and the hilarity that ensued. Well, probably only a handful of people will find it amusing, but hey, it works for Carrot Top.
February 5, 2005. Wow, another update! I’m as shocked as you are. Thanks to everyone who’s signed the guestbook. Although, you’ll have to forgive me if I don’t get back to you right away, as I’m still jaded and sceptical after the Silly Sailor incident. But feel free to email me as well. I’m sure if you send me some pictures, I may just get back to you though. Also, if you have yet to sign the guestbook, I encourage you to do so. There’s a picture of the greatest Tag Team of all time linked to it, so you can’t miss it. I’d also like to give a shout of to my buddies O’Brien and Nick, who both had Birthdays recently. Not much else going on, although Spring Break is almost here. I look forward to making my yearly trip to Yarmouth. I’m still not really sure why I go there, but it makes for a fun day. Also, it should be noted that I got a score of 673150 on Balloon Fight the other day. I’m not sure how that warrants it being written on my site, but that’s why I’m in charge. I give the people, mainly myself, what they want to see. The Superbowl is this Sunday, which would make for an entertaining day, if I was at home with my satellite dish. Its no secret that I love commercials, but for some reason, we here in Canada don’t get to see the awesome superbowl ones unless we have a dish. So instead of seeing advertising at its best, we get crappy Global ads from local jerks like Permacrete or Alweather Windows. Yeah, I bet they paid a couple million for their ad spots. Damn CRTC. Anyway, I’ve got some great stuff for you this week, including reviews of Sleepaway Camp 2 and an episode of Saturday Night's Main Event, featuring Kamala. All that, and a detailed list of things that piss me off at school. Should be pretty funny. Oh yeah, and I actually made the links page this time. Honest.
January 28, 2004 – Here’s the second big update for my website. I’m actually a little surprised that its coming so soon, but I have to give the people what they want, assuming I actually have any reading this site. Anyway, the Royal Rumble is this Sunday and its looks like it could be pretty interesting. The only thing that bugs me is that from a storyline standpoint, it only makes sense that Batista wins it all. I think Batista has been awesome lately, but I don’t know if he stacks up there with guys like Austin, Hogan, or Michaels. Its too bad too, because there’s a ton of great talent in the rumble including Benoit, Guererro, Booker T, Cena, and Jericho, and nobody has really stepped up, cutting promos saying that they will win. I always used to laugh when you’d get somebody like Barry Horowitz getting on there, and saying that he’ll win. Anyway, the links section has been added, as well as some various pictures. of yours truly being his rockin’ self. As well, we have a great article on the Spiderman Happy Meal, and a review of WCW's Halloween Havoc 99. Should make for a good time.
January 17, 2005 - After many years of putting it off, my kingdom is finally up and running. Now that HTML makes more sense, and I have people to do the hard stuff for me, the site is here and should be regularly updated. Anyway, I'll keep this short, as I'm still pumped about Ricky Steamboat waving to me at yesterday's Smackdown house show in Halifax. I have three big articles for you to enjoy, and my tape trading section is ready to go. I encourage you to check it out, you may just find something interesting. As well, if you need to contact the Czar, perhaps to comment on my rockin' good page, click on my loyal court jester at the bottom. Enjoy!
