Welcome everyone to Pre Wrestling vs. Tecmo World Wrestling, NES Showdown: Winner Takes All! Tonight, worlds collide like never before. There is no tomorrow, as these two games square off for the first time…for the last time! Only one will be left standing, and be named best wrestling game for the NES!

Match 1 – Kin Corn Karn vs. “The Samurai” Akira Dragon

The crowd is abuzz as both men enter the ring and stare each other down. Dragon turns to bow to the crowd, but Karn ambushes him with a deadly chop. Karn continues the beatdown, bringing Dragon to his knees. Karn with another chop to the forehead and Irish whips Dragon into the ropes. Dragon avoids the clothesline and comes back with a flying karate kick. Dragon throws Karn into the turnbuckle, ooh this is going to hurt. Reverse knife-edge chops by Dragon! The expression on Karn’s face says it all! Dragon brings Karn into the center of the ring and lands a picture perfect snap suplex. Karn is down and Dragon lands a flying chop to his throat. The referee warns Dragon, who then picks Karn up and throws him into the turnbuckle. Multiple kicks by Dragon, and Karn is down again, with his head on the bottom turnbuckle. Dragon turns and runs back at Karn with a sliding dropkick to the face. Dragon picks Karn back up and slams him back down. Dragon goes up to the top rope, but misses his corkscrew plancha. Both men are down, and the ref starts his count. Finally at 6, both men get back to their feet and Karn lands an enziguri out of nowhere! Karn takes Dragon and places him in the tree of woe in the corner. Chops by Karn, until the referee got between the two of them. Karn goes in for an avalanche, but Dragon moved out of the way and rolled him up. The referee counts two and Karn kicks out. Dragon takes karn and wraps him into an STF submission in the middle of the ring. Karn is screaming, but will not submit. Somehow he manages to reach the ropes, and Dragon breaks the hold at three. Karn is clearly is pain, but somehow manages to land a huge chop to Dragon. He signals for the figure four leg lock, but Dragon reverses into a small package! One, Two, Three! Dragon gets his hand raised, and runs to the back before Karn could get his salt out. Tecmo wins the first match!

Winner: “The Samurai” Akira Dragon

Backstage, Rex Beat is interviewed. He says he doesn’t care what Amazon thinks he is, or where he comes from, all he knows is that he better be ready for a fight. Its not gonna be pretty, but he takes blood and leather over milk and cookies anyday of the week.

Match 2 – The Amazon vs. Rex Beat

The Amazon’s handlers bring him to the ring, and Rex Beat looks unimpressed. He ambushes Amazon before his handlers got his chains off. Major blows by Rex. The Amazon reverses and uses his chains to choke Rex out. Rex retreats to the outside of the ring. Inside the ring, The Amazon displays his eerie strength by breaking both his arm and leg shackles. Rex comes back into the ring and the fight is on. They continue to trade blows until Amazon scoops up Rex and slams him. Angered, Rex comes to his feet, but runs right into the Amazon, who starts to bite him. Rex is just gushing blood from his forehead, and he seems to be smiling. He kicks Amazon in the stomach and lands the Northern Lights Suplex. One, Two, No! Amazon grabs Rex, and the two men brawl to the outside. They both pick up chairs and waffle each other with them. The referee has given up on the match and calls for the bell. Referees from both games rush to the ring to contain the two men. Nothing has been settled here, and you can bet they will be back at it in the main event!

Match 3 – King Slender vs. “Mr. Tattoo” Mark Rose

It is clearly a mismatch between these two wrestlers, as King Slender is easily a head taller than Mr. Tattoo. Regardless, Rose rushes to attack Slender, and landing several blows. He goes for a dropkick, but misses. He tries again, but is pushed away by Slender. He goes back to the ropes and comes at Slender with a flying cross body. Slender easily catches Rose in his arms, and gives him a fallaway slam. Slender picks Rose back up, and puts him into a bearhug. Rose is struggling to get out, and goes right for the eyes. Slender breaks the hold, rubbing at his eyes. Rose goes back to the ropes, runs at Slender, but gets caught in a spinebuster. Slender yawns and picks Rose back up, putting him into his patented backbreaker. Rose has no choice but to tape out. The referee calls for the bell, and Slender locks the hold in for good measure, before slamming Rose to the ground. Slender poses, and the trainers and referees rush down to the ring with a stretcher for Mr. Tattoo. It is uncertain if he will be able to wrestle in tonight’s main event.

Match 4 – Star Man vs. El Tigre - No DQ

Stalling and lock up, arm bar by Tigre and Star Man fights out. Reversals and Star Man with a wristlock. Tigre with an escape and a wristlock to Star Man. Leg sweep, reversals and Tigre with a cross body takes them both to the floor. Star Man with right hands and whips Tigre to the steel. Another whip and Tigre with a moonsault off of the railing! Tigre is bleeding from the mouth. Suplex on Tigre, drops him on the steel. Spinning leg drop to Tigre. Star Man back in and suplexes Tigre back in, press slam by Star Man and drops him down. Asai moonsault for 2! Right hands to Tigre now and Star Man whips him. Tigre to the 2nd rope and nails Star Man with a clothesline! Boots by Tigre and chops to Star Man. Kick to the head of Star Man and whips him, and gets the leg drop to Star Man as he tried a shoulder block. Star Man is on the apron now and dropkicked to the floor. Tigre goes after Star Man and whips him to the steel and follows with a clothesline. He peels back the mat and then rams Star Man into the post and then slams him on the concrete. Back in the ring with Tigre in control booting away at Star Man. Reversal and a roll up by Tigre, and a roll up reversal series. Tigre with a slam, reversed and spin kick by Star Man. Leg drop from the middle of the second rope gets 2! Star Man gets a chair and goes back in. Sets Lynn in the corner…running dropkick onto the chair! Whips Tigre...rolls through and tries the monkey flip, Tigre counters into a SUNSET FLIP POWERBOMB ONTO THE CHAIR FOR 2! Star Man IS DEAD! Tigre up and rams Star Man to the corner. Whips him and reversal, boot to Star Man. Tornado DDT reversed, then by Tigre and again by Star Man who gets a snap mare. Tigre with a SICK German for 2! Both men up and Tigre boots away at Star Man. He gets a chair and lays it down. Star Man off the ropes…DDT ON STAR MAN ONTO THE CHAIR gets 2! Tigre grabs Star Man again and chops him in the corner. Boot by Star Man and a springboard spin kick as well. Star Man up top. FIVE STAR FROG SPLASH MISSES! Tigre rolls him up and gets 2! Tigre with a chair, misses, DROPSAULT! He lays Tigre in the center of the ring and goes for the Frog Splash. BOOM! One, Two, Three!

Match 5 – Fighter Hayabusa vs. Jackie Lee

The two men locked up to start, and Hayabusa lands a knee lift on Lee. From there, Hayabusa puts Lee into a wrist lock, but Lee quickly reverses. Hayabusa elbows Lee and delivers a German suplex. A jumping elbow drop is avoided by Lee, who then nips up. Both men square off, and Hayabusa quickly tackles Lee with a number of punches. Lee wraps his legs around Hayabusa’s mid section and starts to squeeze. Hayabusa reaches the ropes and Lee starts kicking. Hayabusa goes to clothesline Lee, but Lee ducks and the referee goes down. Suddenly, The Strong Bads, the Tag Team Champions of Tag Team Wrestling jump from out of the crowd and attack both men. Clearly they are upset for being left out of such a prestigious event. Double chokeslam to Jackie Lee! Then, they pick up Hayabusa and deliver a devastating spike piledriver. One Strong Bad wakes up the referee, while the other places Jackie Lee on top of Fighter Hayabusa. Security rushes down to the ring and the Strong Bads escape into the crowd. The referee slumps over and counts one, two, three, for the win!

Backstage, Pro Wrestling Champion, Great Puma announces that he will replace the injured Fighter Hayabusa, and track down the Strong Bads, who were obviously paid off by the Tecmo crew.

Match 6 – Giant Panther vs. Dr. Guildo

The two men brawl to start, trading punches, before Dr. Guildo slams Giant Panther. Giant Panther gets right back up and slams Guildo. The two men lock up and move around the ring, before going through the ropes onto the outside. Guildo whips Panther into the steel post, and goes in for a clothesline. Panther moves and Guildo clotheslines the post. Both men re-enter the ring, and Panther catches Guildo with an armbar. Guildo easily reaches the rope, but his arm does appear to be bothering him. They lock back up and Guildo lands a knee to Panther’s midsection. Double axe handles by Guildo onto Panther. Panther is on his knees, being beat down by Guildo. Guildo picks Panther back up and lands a back suplex. Panther rushes to his feet and is quickly whipped into the ropes. Guildo puts his head down too early for a back drop and gets DDTed by Panther. Both men are slow to get to their feet. Finally they both get to their feet, and Guildo runs at Panther, but Panther ducks, and low bridges Guildo to the outside. Panther comes out and slams Guildo mask first onto the guardrail. Panther comes back to the ring to break the count, and slams Guildo again, before landing an elbow. He throws Guildo back into the ring and gets a two count. Guildo is placed on the top rope and panther prepares for a superplex. However, Guildo starts punching, but Panther goes to the eyes, and lands his superplex. Panther is visibly frustrated as he once again only gets a two count. He uncharacteristically goes up to the top rope, but misses Guildo and rams his knees into the canvas. Dr. Guildo then places Panther into a full nelson. Panther attempts to break the hold by ramming Guildo into the turnbuckle, but Guildo won’t budge. Finally Panther’s knees buckle, and Guildo adds a leg grapevine to the full nelson. Panther struggles to reach the ropes, and finally does so after several minutes. The damage has been done, and Panther retreats to the outside. Panther gets back on the apron, and Guildo suplexes him back into the ring. However, Panther lands on Guildo, and gets a two count. Both men reach their feet, and Dr. Guildo clotheslines Panther out of his boots. He signals for the end and picks Panther up. Panther backs Guildo into the corner, but Guildo moves out of the way, and Panther runs into the turnbuckle. He turns around and is caught in a T-Bone suplex. One, Two, Three!

Winner: Dr. Guildo

Backstage in the Tecmo locker room, the wrestlers celebrate Dr. Guildo’s huge victory over Giant Panther. However, tonight’s main event will be 6 on 5, as Mark Rose has been taken to a local medical facility with an unknown injury. Rex Beat says it doesn’t matter, because they will prove their superiority tonight.

Main Event: Winner Take All Elimination Match – Pro Wrestling vs. Tecmo World Wrestling

All 11 men square off in the ring. Suddenly the lights go out! Lightning strikes, and a platform is lowered from the rafters. Behold, the Heavyweight Champion from Tecmo World Wrestling, The Blue Demon King! The Pro Wrestling team doesn’t know what to make of this, but King Slender doesn’t care, as he rushes the Blue Demon King. The other wrestlers file out of the ring, and Slender’s clotheslines have no effect on the Blue Demon King. Finally after going for his third clothesline, Slender is given a massive boot by the Blue Demon King. The Demon picks up the seemingly lifeless Slender and drops him with a tombstone! One, Two, Three! And just like that, it is now 6 on 5 for Tecmo. Star Man comes into the ring and dropkicks Blue Demon King, with little effect. Demon smiles, and tags out to Akira Dragon. Star Man starts with the European uppercuts, and gets a dropsault on the Samurai. Star Man whips Dragon into the Pro Wrestling corner, and eight sets of arms pound on Dragon. Star Man tags in the Amazon who starts biting Dragon. Dragon goes for a jumping karate kick, but Amazon avoids it. Somehow, Dragon manages to tag Rex Beat in, and the fight resumes. They brawl with each other, trading punches. Beat goes to the throat, and hits a flapjack. Rex goes for a pin, and the Pro Wrestling guys come in to break up the pin. Then the Tecmo guys also come in. Utter bedlam! Extra referees are needed to separate the wrestlers. Suddenly, Giant Panther cracks Rex Beat with a chair when the referees were occupied and Amazon covers him. One, Two, Three! El Tigre rushes into the ring, but is arm dragged by The Amazon. Amazon picks Tigre up and takes him towards the Pro Wrestling corner. Kin Corn Karn reaches into his pocket for salt, but Tigre ducks, and Amazon gets it in the face! El Tigre grabs the stunned Amazon and lands a fisherman’s suplex for the three count. Just like that, Tecmo has the advantage once again. Kin Corn Karn rushes into the ring, and El Tigre catches him with a hurracanrana. One, Two, kickout! Karn gets up, and lands a few chops on Tigre. Huge bodyslam by Karn. He goes for a kneedrop, but Tigre avoids it, and tags Dr. Guildo in. Karn goes right for the injured arm of Guildo, but Guildo goes for the eyes. Karn tags Giant Panther in, and the rematch between the two begins. Headlock by Panther, but Guildo sends him into the ropes. Shoulderblock by both men, but neither goes down. Panther tries for another shoulderblock, and Guildo lands another T-Bone suplex for the three count! Giant Panther can’t believe it Beaten by Guildo twice by the same method in less than an hour. Referees are trying to restrain Panther and to get him sent to the back. Great Puma steps into the ring, and ambushes Guildo. Press slam by Puma. Belly to belly by Puma. Guildo gets whipped into the turnbuckle, but avoids Puma’s elbow. He gets a tag to Jackie Lee, who begins kicking Puma. Puma is stunned and is taken back into the Tecmo corner. Dr. Guildo is tagged back in, and puts Puma into a headlock. Puma sends Guildo into the ropes, who is clobbered by Giant Panther who is on the apron! Referees try to get Panther back to the dressing room. Guildo turns around and is powerbombed by Puma! One, Two, Three! Akira Dragon tries to ambush Puma, but gets caught in a sidewalk slam. Tag to Kin Corn Karn, who locks in the claw hold. Karn sweeps Dragon’s legs out from under him, and slams him onto the canvas. A quick tag to Star Man who jumps up onto the top rope. 450 Leg Drop! One, Two, Three! Just like that, we’re down to a 6 man tag! Jackie Lee hops into the ring but gets caught by a Star Man dropkick. Star Man tags Kin Corn Karn in. A double team sees Karn land a clothesline while Star Man leg sweeps. Armbar on Jackie Lee. Jackie begins chopping, but Karn grabs a handful of hair, putting Lee back on the canvas. Karn goes for a diving chop, but Lee avoids it. Lee whips Karn into the ropes, but El Tigre pulls him outside of the ring. Suicide dive by Lee onto Karn and he and Tigre double team Karn. Suddenly Star Man lands a somersault plancha onto all three men. The referee’s count continues as Star Man re-enters the ring and tags Great Puma. El Tigre is still down after the plancha. The referee reaches a ten count and both Kin Corn Karn and Jackie Lee have been counted out. Great Puma is waiting for someone to get into the ring. The staredown is on as Blue Demon enters the ring for only the second time in the match. The two men go nose to nose and the crowd seems to go completely silent. As the two men continue to stare each other down, they seem to draw energy from the crowd as they get louder and louder. Punch by Great Puma. Punch by Blue Demon King. They continue to trade blows, until Demon blocks one punch and lands a side slam. Demon throws Puma back into the corner and Star Man tags in. Star Man runs in, but gets a boot to the face. Demon picks Star Man up and delivers a snake-eyes onto a neutral turnbuckle. Star Man staggers, and chokeslam by Demon! He goes for the pin, but pulls him up at 2. El Tigre seems confused. Demon throws Star Man back into the Pro Wrestling corner and Great Puma rushes back into the ring. However, Demon King turns and tags El Tigre. Both Puma and Tigre seem confused, but Puma shakes it off and spears Tigre. Tigre’s leg seems to be injured after that landing, and Puma goes in for the kill. A quick reverse figure four and El Tigre taps out. Demon King comes back into the ring and stomps Puma before he could break the hold on El Tigre. Demon King flips Puma over and locks in the camel clutch submission hold. Puma has nowhere to go, and Star Man is still laying on the canvas in the corner. After 5 minutes of agony, Great Puma passes out, and the referee calls for the bell. Demon King looks over to the fallen Star Man and signals for the end. He picks up Star Man and prepares for a powerbomb, but Star Man reverses into a hurracanrana. One, Two, Three! Blue Demon King cannot believe it! The lights go out, and when they come back on, Star Man is alone in the ring! The referees bring Star Man to his feet as the sole survivor of the NES Showdown. Star Man’s fellow Pro Wrestling competitors come back to the ring and celebrate with Star Man. A trophy and commemorative Championship Belt are presented to Star Man!

The battle is won, but a title like Best NES Game is always sought after. Who could be coming for Pro Wrestling Next? Saturday Night SlamMasters? MUSCLE? The Strong Bads? Only time will tell!
