Rita is the quiet member of the group of friends. She used to feel nervous around Mr. Terada, but it only seemed to be because she had a crush on him. However, she's grown out of it and is looking toward the future. Rita is on the basketball team and leads the division in points. When not playing her favorite sport, she is usually in the library reading romance novels.
Like Zachary, Rita falls prey to the powers of the Kayo Gems in Episode 46, when the two are shrunk. When discovered by Li, she as well found out about his magical powers, but was asked to keep it a secret. She agreed, and has kept the secret since, (and has helped Zachary to not tell in a way that would make Chelsea suspicious).
