Last time, the Fall Festival was underway. There were games, rides, and live entertainment. Julian returned after his vacation to be reunited with all of his friends. However, right in the middle of it, a black cloud descended upon the festival grounds, unleashing a barrage of rain, thunder, and wind. As the people fled, Sakura and Li prepared to face off against the powerful gem.
Julian passes out in the middle of the fight, allowing Yue to reveal himself after such a long time. As the three fight, Yue is caught off guard by an attack
 “Yue! No!”
As Storm was about to finish off Yue, the mysterious girl appeared again to save him. Like before, she fought and sealed the being into a gem form. Before she was able to leave however, Sakura stepped in her path and demanded answers.
 “Who are you?”
The girl became annoyed and the two began fighting. Before Sakura was injured, Li stepped in the way and took the blow. As everyone made sure he was okay, the girl apologized.
“I’m sorry, but this is dangerous . . .I don’t want innocent people getting hurt, which is why I ask you not to help me.”
She then disappeared before Sakura found find out who she really was. Now the CardCaptors Gang is wracking their brains, trying to match someone in Reidenton with the mysterious girl.
Episode Three
It had been a few hours since Sakura Avalon, Madison Taylor, and Li Showron faced another gem, this time taking on the form of a griffin, and possessing the ability to cause storms like Sakura’s Storm Card. As Sakura and Li fought, the mysterious girl appeared again, and after her aid, she was able to seal the griffin into a gem. Afterwards, Sakura and the girl got into a battle, but Li stepped in and saved Sakura from a blast of magic. The girl frowned, then warned apologized, then added that she would prefer they didn’t help, for she wanted no one getting hurt. She then disappeared, leaving behind questions, but not a single answer in sight. It was Saturday night, and Sakura was sitting at the desk looking through her card collection, while Kero snacked on pudding. “I wonder what that was all about . . .they weren’t cards.” “What did the girl say before the woman and the cloud disappeared into those jewels?” “She said . . .‘Gem, return to your power confined!’ Then each form disappeared and a jewel was left behind. Before leaving the first time though, the girl said she wasn’t an enemy, but a friend. She then grabbed the jewel, and disappeared into the shadows.” “What about today at the Fall Festival?” “We both got into an argument, then Li stepped in. She then left after apologizing.” “Very mysterious.” “So do you know anything about this Kero?” “Not really . . .it sounds familiar but I can’t quite recall what this all means. I used to know . . .” “Some type of amnesia?” “I guess so Sakura . . .but why I cant remember it is very mysterious.” “Wow . . .hope that never happens to me in battle when I’m using the Sakura Cards. She was able to save us both times, using some kind of firebird.” “Did she use a chant?” “Yeah, it sounded like ‘Lock of Kayo . . .Key of Sonya . . .summon the bow . . .summon the might . . .so I may fight!’ It sounded similar to my spell . . .” “Well just be careful. She may seem nice at first, but she may be after the Sakura Cards . . .or global conquest. You never know these days.”
Suddenly the door opened and Tori poked his head in. Kero suddenly froze and fell over onto his back. Sakura grabbed his pudding cup and began eating it. He looked at her suspiciously, and then sighed. “It’s time for bed Squirt. Don’t want to sleep in and miss Li in the morning right?” “Not funny Tori! He’s just a friend!” “Yeah, that’s what you want him to think, but I know you like him. It’s pretty obvious Squirt.” “Whatever Tori . . .” “Now go to bed before dad gets angry.” She nodded then climbed into bed. As she lied down, Tori turned off the lights then looked back. “By the way Tori, how did the tour go?” “Pretty good, but to tell you the truth, it started out as a tour, and ended up turning into a date.” “Really!? Wow! Is she nice?” Very. She likes archeology, but I’ll tell you more about her another day. Right now you should go to sleep.” “Okay Tori . . .” She closed her eyes then went to sleep. He closed the door, then Kero unfroze and flew over to her pillow. He landed beside her head and curled up into a ball. “Good night Sakura.” “Good night Kero . . .” She sighed then drifted off to sleep.
The next day, Sakura, Madison, Tori, and Aiden went to the soccer game and watched as Li’s team beat the opposition. After the victory party, she came straight home and went to bed, only to have another dream. This time she found herself in the park, wearing the battle costume she wore when facing the dragon that the Create Card had brought to life long ago. This time however, she stood in front of a giant pillar of water. She held her Sealing Wand, but she did not see Li or Madison standing beside her. As she searched the park, she gasped in shock for as she looked inside the pillar, she saw Li and Madison trapped. Suddenly, she heard a hiss. Becoming frightened, she slowly turned around to see a giant blue snake hissing at her. She cried out then tried to summon the Little Card, but the snake swung its tail at her, hitting her hand and causing the wand to go flying. She was suddenly grabbed by the tail, and thrown into the pillar of water where she had to hold her breath. Li and Madison had already passed out from being in there, and Sakura was starting to become frightened. Suddenly she heard a voice. She looked to see a silhouette. “Fiery! Shatter and dispel!” Then the firebird, which had saved them earlier, appeared from out of nowhere and began attacking the snake. Then the girl appeared wearing the mask once again, but perched on her shoulder was a small bird. It took flight into the sky, and then the girl began shooting arrows of fire at the snake. Unfortunately, the snake withstood the fire, and fired a blast of water at the firebird, which caused it to disappear, leaving a red gem behind. The girl gasped, then made a dash toward the pillar. The snake however stopped her by shooting more water at her. Before Sakura passed out from not breathing any air . . .she saw the girl’s eye mask lying on the ground. Everything then went black, and she slowly returned to reality as she awakened from her sleep. She looked around to see it was morning. Kero woke up as well, then rose from the pillow and over to the window. He opened the curtains to let in the sunlight. “Good morning Sakura!” “Morning Kero.” “You better start getting ready. It’s Monday morning and Li should be here in a little while.” “Yeah, you’re right.” She slowly rose from bed and grabbed her school uniform. After changing, she went downstairs and ate breakfast, while Kero started playing Zylon Warriors IV. After eating, she went upstairs to brush her hair and teeth. After that, she grabbed her school case, and then went back downstairs. She strapped on her inline skating gear and went out the door to wait for Li. He came by a few minutes later wearing his gear as well. He sped past her then she left and skated quickly to catch up like she does every morning. “How’s it going today Li?” “Pretty good. Still psyched about the game yesterday. They were the hardest team and we beat them. How are you doing?” “Okay I guess . . .” “Something wrong?” “I had another dream last night . . .about that girl and the gems.” “Really? What happened this time?” “Well, you and Madison were trapped inside a pillar of water, while I had to fight this giant snake. I got trapped in the pillar, then the girl appeared. She summoned the firebird again, but she lost the battle. Before I passed out, I saw her mask lying on the ground.” “Did you see her face?” “No.” “Oh well . . .let’s wait until lunch to talk about this. We shouldn’t leave Madison out of the conversation right?” “You’re right Li.” “There’s the school.” “Race you to the door!”
The day began and continued slowly as the classes were very boring compared to what had been happening to Madison, Li, and Sakura. Lunch came, and Madison went to buy hers, while Sakura and Li waited in the yard under the trees. “I can’t stop thinking about Friday and Saturday.” Sakura began to think as Li thought about it too. “ The vines had to do with the Wood Card, so the reading was right. Also, the gem captured Saturday was Storm. We were trapped by those vines, and chased by the griffin, and then the person appeared, with powers like mine.” "You want to know what I'm curious about?" "What's that Li?" "Who was that girl? She isn't our age, and she seemed to be able to capture those gem like we captured the cards." "It's weird . . .have you seen Madison?" "Not yet, she must be getting her lunch or something." “Hope that’s all. She usually doesn’t take this long to get lunch.”
Sakura then removed her cards from her case, and then she began shuffling them. “Madison, you better copy down the cards as I place them just incase we have to ask Kero about any of their meanings.” “Good idea.” Madison then removed a pad of paper and a pen from her case, and then waited for Sakura to begin the reading. Sakura split the deck into three smaller ones, and then she took the middle deck and split that into three piles. One by one, she flipped each card until there was the Illusion Card on the bottom, and the Watery Card on the top. In the middle, there was the Dash Card, the Silent Card, and finally the Time Card. The three studied them carefully. “Let’s see . . .Illusion means someone who we don’t suspect . . .a person who is able to keep us guessing who they are. Dash means someone who comes and goes, holding the fan in the Silent Card shows someone who’s identity is unknown, and Time is linked to Silent because it’s on the right. That means in time the identity will be revealed. Watery could be like Wood, where we will face off against something dealing with water before the appearance of this person. We know the person is that girl who sealed the vines into that broach. We don’t know who she is, but according to the cards she will be revealed in time.” Sakura then removed the Illusion Card from the bottom and placed it under the space between the Silent Card and the Time Card. She then drew a new card and slid that under the space between the Dash Card and the Silent Card. Taking a deep breath, she flipped the card to reveal it as the Little Card once again. She smiled then looked to the others. “She will reveal her identity soon.” “Wow. You’re getting good at this Sakura.” “Thanks Li. Now we just have to wait . . .but maybe we should ask Kero about the cards, just incase I made a mistake. These cards could be telling me something totally different.” “Really though. The Sakura Cards are very mysterious sometimes.” “Yeah. Hey! Guess what you two?” “What?” “Tori’s bringing home that girl he showed around Saturday night. It turns out that their sight seeing tour turned into a full fledged date!” “Oh my god! That, means that when you were teasing Tori, it meant you were predicting the outcome! Wow!” “Yeah. He says she’s really nice and likes archeology.” “I’m starting to like her now too!” “Li!” “What did I say?” “Never mind. Come on, class is about to start.”
Madison and Li stood up from the ground and ran off into the school, leaving Sakura alone trying to pick up her cards. She stuffed them into the Sakura Book, and then chased off after the two. “Wait for me!” She ran into the school, and down the hall, but as she turned a corner, she slammed into someone and they both fell to the floor. The Arrow Card suddenly fell out of the book and floated down to the ground. Sakura slowly regained her senses, and then opened her eyes as she saw someone holding out their hand to her. It was a girl who looked older than her, wearing the same uniform. She had brown hair with blond bangs, and purple eyes. Sakura took the hand and pulled herself up, brushing off her clothes. “Thanks. Sorry about that. I was trying to catch up to my friends.” “Oh, they must be who ran by me earlier. They went to Chemistry Class.” “Thanks.” Sakura bowed then walked off hastily, but then stopped as she heard someone calling to her. She turned to see the girl running over to her. She stopped then held to the Arrow Card. “Is this yours?” “Oh! Yes, it is. Thank you. I kind of have a sentimental attachment to these cards.” “I know what you mean. I feel the same way about this necklace. By the way, my name is Ceaira.” “Sakura.” “Very cool. Well, I have to get going. See you around Sakura.” “Bye Ceaira!” She waved then ran off down the hall, while Sakura looked at her watch. The bell suddenly rang and she panicked. “Oh no! I’m late!” Far away, Ceaira looked back at Sakura as she panicked and ran off toward her classroom. She then removed a small box and opened it, looking at the contents inside. She then closed the box and placed it back into her case, then headed off to class.
Sakura managed to sneak into class right before the teacher began taking attendance. He didn’t seem to notice, and for that Madison gave her a high five her while Li gave thumbs up. She smiled then quickly slid the Arrow Card back into the Sakura Book before anyone noticed. She then placed the book back in her case then looked up to see Li looking right at her. “What? Something wrong?” “Why did you have the Arrow Card out?” “It fell out when I bumped into someone.” “Oh. Well, be more careful okay?” “Alright.”
That day as well seemed to go by very slowly. At the end of the last class, which was history, there was a test announced. Sakura, Li, and Madison decided to go over to Sakura’s home and study there, so they would have a good chance of passing the test. They all grabbed their inline gear and then began skating home. “Hey, I got an idea. Why don’t we get some ice cream at that new store before we start studying? They say minds think better after having something to eat!” “Good idea. Do we have enough money though?” “I don’t have any . . .” “Don’t worry Sakura, I’ll treat you to some ice cream today.” “Thanks a lot Li, I’ll pay you back tomorrow okay?” “Nah, you don’t need to worry about it.” “Okay, as long as you don’t mind.” “I don’t, trust me.” “Okay.” They continued to skate until they arrived at the ice cream store. Inside, they each bought one scoop and then went outside and sat on the curve. “So . . .what do you think those jewels are if they’re not Clow Cards which I haven’t converted?” “I honestly have no idea.” “Maybe they’re not Clow Cards . . .like my odeka’s. They might just be talisman’s of magic.” “Or maybe they’re like Clow Cards . . .only they’re different objects. All I know is that I asked Kero about them, and he didn’t know anything about them.” “It’s got to be bad if the Guardian Beast doesn’t know anything about them. I guess for now all we can do is keep an eye out, especially if the reading you did was right.” “It probably is right, I haven’t been wrong often enough to consider that . . .but it could be one of those situations . . .” “Wait a minute! What if the answer was in Sakura’s basement? After all, that’s where you discovered the Clow Book right? Maybe there’s something about it there too!” “Right, but let’s study first okay? Dad has to leave after supper, so we can sneak into the basement and check out the books there.” “Good idea Sakura.” “Right. Is everyone done eating their ice cream?” “Yeah.” “Then let’s get going!” The three nodded then began skating down the hill, where Sakura suddenly ran over a pebble and lost control. Before she skated off the sidewalk and into the busy street however, Li grabbed her arm and pulled her back over. She smiled and thanked him, then turned away to blush because she was so glad that he saved her whereas she liked him a lot.
They then came to a stop and went into Sakura’s house. Kero suddenly flew down the stairs and perched himself on Sakura’s shoulder. “Hey Sakura!” She panicked then looked at him. “Kero! What are you doing down here? Can’t you see my dad is . . .” She then looked down at the floor and saw Aiden’s shoes were missing. She, as well as Li and Madison, breathed out a sigh of relief. Kero smiled then crossed his arms in front of him. “He had to leave because of an emergency at the museum, left a note on the fridge saying to heat up the leftovers, and if you bring home friends to heat up some for them. There’s also chocolate pudding for desert! Yeah!”
The three giggled as Kero proclaimed his love for the desert, then headed toward the basement. They headed down the stairs and made their way into the library. Kero looked around, and then looked back at Sakura, totally puzzled. “So kiddo, what are we doing down here?” “We’re looking around down here to see if there’s maybe any information about that broach the girl sealed the vines into the other day. We should know what we’re up against, especially if this girl isn’t a friend.” “Oh. Well, I doubt there’s any information down here, but it’s still worth a look to see if there is right?” “Yeah. That’s what we were thinking Kero.” “Well then, let us start looking.” Everyone nodded then began looking through the books on the shelves.
After an hour, they were sitting around on the floor exhausted and frustrated. “I can’t believe there’s no information down here about that broach. How are we supposed to fight it, if that option arises.” “I have no idea Sakura. I may be the Guardian Beast, but I don’t know everything remember.” “I can’t believe how many books are down here. How did your father get them all anyway?” “Don’t know Madison.” “Well, guess we should go upstairs and get something to eat. Then we can start studying for the test.” “Good idea. I wonder what’s up there for leftovers . . .”
Far away in the park, the fountain was releasing water like it always did. Suddenly however, it seemed to stop. As people walked over to investigate, they were suddenly pulled into the fountain by some mysterious force. A blue aura suddenly appeared and drifted around, and then suddenly a silhouette of a giant monster appeared. It threw its head back and screeched into the sky.
Back at Sakura’s house, everyone was at the table eating leftovers from the fridge, and as well studying their history notes. Kero was eating a cup of pudding on the table. “Okay Sakura, when did Christopher Columbus discover America?” “That’s easy Li. 1492.” “And what was he originally looking for?” “Hmm . . .don’t know that . . .” “He was looking for a trade route to China.”
The three suddenly lifted their faces from their books to see Tori walking into the kitchen. He grabbed two pudding cups from the fridge. Kero had already frozen, making it so he looked like a stuffed animal. Tori then came back and looked at him suspiciously. “Why does your stuffed animal have pudding smeared on his face?” “What? Well . . .you see . . .” “Umm . . .” “The truth is . . .” “Maybe Sakura likes to think the stuffed animal is alive.”
They were suddenly surprised by the new voice. They turned to the entrance of the dining room to see Ceaira leaning against the doorframe. She smiled then walked into the room. Taking a napkin, she started wiping off the pudding from Kero’s mouth. He made sure not to make any movements at all.
“I know when I was little, I used to think my stuffed animals were alive too. I always snuck a peach up to my room and pretended to feed it to them.” Sakura smiled and waved as she ate another spoonful of pudding. “How are you Ceaira?” “Pretty good.” Tori became puzzled as he looked from Sakura to Ceaira. “You know the Squirt?” “Yeah, I met her at school today. She sort of ran into me on the way to her class.” “Literally.” “That’s Sakura for you, always running into people.” “Stop it Tori. We have to study, so please leave us alone.” “Fine, Ceaira needs some help with her homework so she asked if I could help her.” “Yeah.”
Suddenly Ceaira eyes widened then became narrow as she looked quickly from left to right. Sakura and Li looked at her, wondering what was going on. Ceaira shook her head and returned to normal, then looked back at Tori. “Actually, I forgot to feed my pet budgie before I came here. I should be back in a while okay? You can help me when I get back.” “Okay Ceaira.” Tori then hugged her tightly, and then she grabbed her belongings and left the house. Li and Sakura then turned back to look at each other, wondering what that was all about. They then decided it was nothing, and then continued studying.
Later, the three were in the living room watching TV, with Kero laying on the coffee table. Tori looked out of the window and out onto the street. He then turned back around and paced around slowly. Sakura looked up when she noticed him, then frowned. He then turned to her and frowned as well. “You think she ditched me?” “Of course not Tori! Don’t ever think that!” “Yeah, you’re right. Well, I’m going to go upstairs to study. If she comes back, come get me okay?” “Sure thing Tori.” “Thanks Squirt.” He smiled then went upstairs. They heard the sounds of a door closing, and then Kero stretched out and flew up off of the coffee table. “Didn’t think he’d ever leave.” “No kidding. He’s really worried about Ceaira.” “Well anyone would be if they cared about her as much as he seems to.” “You’re right.”
Just then, Sakura gasped, causing her eyes to widen. Li looked over, while Madison waved a hand in front of her face. “You okay Sakura?” She shook her head then turned to the two. “No. I sense something.” “You do?” “Yeah. I think it’s coming from the park.” “Then let’s go! We have to get our battle costumes!” “Right. Madison, think you can get the costume I wore when I fought the dragon?” “Sure, but why that one?” “Just a feeling, that’s all.” “I’ll go home and change into my robes too. We’ll meet at the fountain right?” “Right.”
Later that night, the sun had just set, allowing the stars and moon to appear in the sky. The three were standing near the fountain, with Li and Sakura dressed in their battle costumes, while Madison manned the video camera. “I miss wearing these battle costumes.” “I’m glad. I’ll make more if more of these gems keep appearing okay?” She was filming them as the two plus Kero searched the area for the mysterious force. “Where do you think it could be Li?” “I don’t know . . .but the aura feels similar to the Watery Card.” “Watery Card? That was the card on top in the reading!” “You’re right! So something is going to happen here that has to do with water!” “Which also means that girl could possibly return . . .” “I just hope this doesn’t turn out like my dream . . .”
Suddenly a giant pillar of water shot out from the fountain and into the sky, causing small rain like droplets to fall from the top and onto the ground. They all watched in wonder as the water continued to shoot upward. Suddenly, there was a loud screech as a black silhouette moved up the pillar. It emerged at the top to be revealed as a giant blue snake with strange symbols all over its scales. It screeched once again then flew up from out of the pillar and toward the ground. Madison continued to videotape the entire situation, but as she focused on the pillar, she gasped at what she saw. “Sakura! Li! Look inside the pillar!” The two looked and gasped as well when they saw that there were people trapped inside the water, all of them were unconscious. Sakura then became annoyed and looked up at the serpent. “Clow Card or not, you’re going down snake!” She then removed a card from her arsenal and held it in front of her.
“Freeze Card . . .” She then tossed it out in front of her, and then began twirling her Sealing Wand “ . . .use your power to freeze the snake!” She then raised the wand as the card levitated in front of her. She brought it down and the tip slammed against the card, causing an array of light and energy to appear all around her. “Freeze Card! Release and dispel!” A dark blue energy emitted from the card and swirled around her. It then formed an ice crystal on the ground, which shattered to reveal the Freeze Card’s form. It rose into the air then began spinning around the snake, using its ice manipulating abilities to freeze the snake. Li smiled and Kero nodded his head, while Sakura leaped up into the air cheering aloud. “Yes! We got it!” Suddenly, the snake began to shake, and the ice shattered revealing it once again. It hissed toward the sky then looked down at Li and Sakura. A blue energy gathered around it and then suddenly, it fired a wave of water. Li managed to jump into the air, but the water hit Sakura before she was able to summon Fly. She was knocked back into the air, but before she fell onto the ground, a dark shadow appeared and caught her. She then placed Sakura on the ground and jumped back. She then grabbed her crossbow and pointed to the town. “Both of you get out of here! This isn’t your fight! Don’t worry! I’ll take care of this snake because it’s my mission!” “No way! We’re staying because people are getting hurt!” “You don’t understand! I have to do this alone!”
Just then, a small shadow appeared in the sky and floated down toward the two girls. It then perched itself on the girl’s shoulder. It was a small bird wearing a strange metal mask on its face. The girl smiled then turned back to Sakura. “You shouldn’t be here. You can get seriously hurt you know!” “We don’t care!” “Listen . . .” The girl suddenly turned to the small bird, which cleared its throat and continued to speak. “We should let them help. It seems this girl is the CardCaptor, and as well, she has all of Clow Reed’s cards. We stand a better chance if we let her and her comrades aid us in capturing the Watery Gem.” “Yeah, you’re right of course.” She then turned to Sakura and nodded. “We could use your help.” The girl looked up at the snake, and then removed a small red gem with the image of a firebird being engulfed in flames. She then tossed the gem into the air and started spinning around. “Fiery Gem . . .” She then pointed her crossbow to the sky and fired a white arrow. “Shatter and dispel!” It collided with the gem, causing it to shatter. A sparkling red light appeared and then massed together. There was a shriek as the firebird appeared from the energy. It rose up into the air, and then dived down at the snake. Sakura then decided to do the same thing, so she removed a card from her arsenal and held it in front of her. “Fiery Card . . .” She then tossed it out in front of her, and then began twirling her Sealing Wand. She then raised the wand as the card levitated in front of her. “Release and dispel!” She brought it down and the tip slammed against the card, causing an array of light and energy to appear all around her. A fiery red energy emitted from the card and swirled around her, then rose into the air to create a being, which resembled an elf like child. The firebird and the card then attacked the snake at the same time. However, the fire simply turned into steam on impact. The snake then hissed and blasted the two with a large wave of water. They both disappeared, leaving behind a gem and card. Everyone gasped, and then the girl clenched her teeth together.
“This isn’t working . . .” “I know . . .how can we beat this thing? “Wait, I know! Do any of you have any lightning or thunder abilities?” “Yeah! I have the Thunder Card!” “And I have lightning magic!” “Okay . . .on my mark, use those abilities to attack.” “Okay.” The girl nodded then charged forward toward the snake. She then skidded to a stop and lifted her crossbow. Taking aim, she fired three yellow colored arrows, which collided with the snake’s belly. It screeched out loud from the pain, and then fired another blast of water at her. She leaped into the air, but as she began to turn, a large drop of water hit her in the face. Her mask went flying and landed on the ground near Sakura. She picked up the mask and gasped. Suddenly, she saw the girl kneeling on the ground covering her face. “Are you okay?” “I’m alright. Attack now!” “Okay!”
She then put the Fiery Card away, and then removed another card from her arsenal and held it in front of her. “Thunder Card . . .” She then tossed it out in front of her, and then began twirling her Sealing Wand. She then raised the wand as the card levitated in front of her. “Release and dispel!” She brought it down and the tip slammed against the card, causing an array of light and energy to appear all around her. Yellow energy emitted from the card and swirled around until it formed Raiju. He screeched then charged toward the snake. Li held his sword in front of him and placed two fingers on the blade. “Force, know my flight . . .release the light!” He then opened his eyes quickly and his sword became engulfed in a yellow energy. “Lightning!” He then slashed his sword at the air, sending a wave of lightning energy at the snake. Raiju and the energy both attacked at the same time, causing the snake to screech and fall to the ground. It then passed out, and Sakura held up her wand. “Thunder! Return to your power confined!” Thunder nodded then turned into a mass of electricity, which reformed into a card. Sakura caught it as it floated over to her, then smiled as she put it away.
The girl then rose from the ground, and then took her crossbow into both hands. She then brought it up to her face and aimed for the snake. “Watery Gem! Return to your power confined!” She then pulled the trigger and fired a solitary arrow of white light. It burst into a white light, which wrapped around the snake, causing it to become a blue energy itself. The two energies merged, then disappeared, leaving behind a small gem. It fell to the ground, then bounced once over to the girl, who caught it with her left hand. She studied the image on it, which was a snake surrounded by a frame of water. She smiled then placed the gem in her pocket. Suddenly, Sakura, Li, Kero, and Madison ran up to her and then waited. Sakura held out her eye mask to her and then cleared her throat. “You dropped this when the snake attacked you.” “Thanks . . .” The girl then turned around to take the mask, causing Sakura, Li, Madison, and Kero to gasp. Standing in front of them was Ceaira Syona. “It’s you!” “I don’t believe it! It’s Ceaira!” “What? Something wrong with me being the GemCaptor?” “No . . .we’re just surprised that it’s you.” “Makes sense though, seeing as she’s the new student at our school.” “You’re right.” “I’m sorry for being so demanding in asking all of you to leave, it’s just that I was worried about you stealing the Kayo Gems after I sealed them.” “Really? Well don’t worry, because we would never do that.” “Thanks. That lets me trust all of you more. Now then, is there anything you four would like?” “Yeah, answers to the questions we asked last night.” “Tell us everything.” “Okay, you deserve some answers to your questions, seeing as you know my identity now.”
“ . . .I accidentally opened it, releasing all the gems. They fled here for some reason.”
Next time, Ceaira and Aquilia discuss and reveal everything they knew about the Kayo Gems. Li as well discovered that he and Ceaira were distantly related due to Clow Kayo being Clow Reeds younger brother. Ceaira and Aquilia then went on to discuss the feud that started from then and continued through the bloodline, and as well brought around the creation of the Clow Card and the Kayo Gems.
“The hated was so powerful, that they wanted to destroy each other.”
The next day, mysterious weather causes snow to fall in their town As well unexplainable temperatures freeze all of the water, causing people to go crazy trying to find water to drink. After thinking over the situation, Ceaira comes to her conclusion that a powerful force is at work.
 “It’s defiantly a Kayo Gem . . .”
At the playground and at the reservoir the group faces off against the Snow Gem and then the Freeze Gem at the reservoir.
 “Release and dispel!”
 “Shatter and dispel!”
Can the CardCaptor’s use their powers and skills to unfreeze the water and restore the weather to it’s original forecast? Find out next time in Episode Four: Fire and Ice
“Each gem that is captured has a mystical seal . . .a new mystifying gem today we shall reveal . . .”
The Kayo box is dark blue with the image of a golden eagle on the lid. It suddenly flipped opened and tipped over, causing all the gems inside to spill out onto the ground. They all bounced around, but one landed and spun around on one side. It then fell over into it’s flat side to reveal the image to be a woman holding a snowflake in her two own hands.
 “Snow Gem!”
Clouds gather in the sky, and a blizzard begins. Suddenly a strange woman appears holding a small wand with a snowflake on the top. Her dominant colours are different shades of blue. She then spins around sending snow flying at Li, Sakura, Madison, and Ceaira. Sakura summoned Fiery, who attacked the gem, while Ceaira shot at the Fiery Gem, which released the firebird. they both attacked the Snow Gem, allowing Ceaira to seal it. The Snow Gem is then shown again before bursting into a whitish-blue light.
“Hey there Card fans! It’s once again time for Kero’s Corner, where I bring to you the behind-the-scene, inside-track, just-between-you-and-me, lowdown scoop on the Sakura Cards!”
He turns around to face the TV. Holding a remote in his hand, Kero turns on the TV to Sakura holding one of her cards as she prepares to summon it. She then goes through her incantation as Kero continues to talk.
“Where there was once Clow Cards, now there are the Sakura Cards!”
He then changes the channel to show Sakura’s hand holding one of her Sakura Cards.
“As you may have seen in the past, when Sakura gained new abilities, she was faced with turning Clow Cards into Sakura Cards for each situation. They are now pink and bear a star symbol inside the original symbol of the sun and moon. The images of each card remain the same, but now have a pink outline.”
Kero smiled then flies closer until his face is almost right up again the camera lens.
 “And now, check out this!”
He then changed the channel again to show a picture of the Sakura Book.
“When the cards changed, so did the Clow Book. Wherever it was red is now pink, and the book is now called the Sakura Book, thus proving she is the Clow Mistress.”
Kero then flies over and sits down in a recliner. He picks up a pipe and blows into it, causing bubbles to pop out and float away, and then looks back toward the camera.
“It’s a good thing Sakura has these new cards, and it’s also good that she’s improved her ability to use them since the beginning, because by the looks of the Kayo Gem’s powers, she’s gonna need them. Well, that’s all for today. See ya!”
He waves then smokes his bubble pipe again as the scene fades out.
