Jahina NSN, foaled May 9, 2014, is by the outstanding young stallion, Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall x Don Gregory) out of Rhumba, ster, and full sister to Gauguin NSN and Hadiya NSN. "Exquisite" is the word for this filly, just like her sister! Her name means "of good pedigree". True to her bloodlines, Jahina has an outstanding long and sloping shoulder, beautiful neckset, pretty head and long legs. She is very sociable, curious, and bold. Jahina NSN, barely one day old. She is already showing an amazing canter like her full siblings and tremendous elasticity through her body. There was only a glimpse of her trot, but it looks very promising. The walk is very supple with good reach.
Jahina NSN is shown at 2 days, below. The pasture is still too soft for the horses this spring, unfortunately. Rhumba is very protective of her daughter and not ready to rejoin the herd just yet.
Jahina is developing true to her breeding - typey, supple, elastic, with a powerful engine in her hindquarters and exceptional front end full of expression.
Jahina, at 3 weeks old, is of exceptional quality, as shown in her canter and trot. She is very elastic in her gaits.
