Lalita NSN, foaled the evening of May 22, 2016, is by the outstanding stallion, Sir Gregory (Sir Donnerhall x Don Gregory) out of Rhumba, ster, and full sister to Gauguin NSN, Hadiya NSN, and Jahina NSN. This filly is exquisite, just like her sisters! Her name means "sweet, elegant". While she is truly elegant, her sweetness is combined with a bit of spice. Lalita is very sociable, bold and curious. True to her bloodlines, Lalita has an outstanding long and sloping shoulder, beautiful neckset, pretty head and long legs. Lalita NSN, 36 hours old. She is already showing an amazing canter like her full siblings and tremendous elasticity through her body. No trot steps yet. The walk is very supple with good reach, and already demonstrates power from behind.
Lalita NSN is shown at 3 days, below. She still is unfolding her legs, but has strong pasterns and an uphill tendency in her movement. This filly is already very typey, not unlike her sire, Sir Gregory, and dam, Rhumba.

With a very hot, humid summer, much patience has been required to wait to see Lalita's movement, as she spends most of her time walking or napping. But I was finally rewarded last week, when Lalita NSN, at 3 months old, had a burst of energy while her mama was being hosed off. Instead of standing there, as she normally does, Lalita decided to show what she could do! All I can say is "WOW!!" Like her full siblings, Lalita NSN has incredible balance, is very light-footed, with a quick and powerful hind leg, exceptional shoulder, and supple back.
Lalita NSN was sold before she was weaned to repeat client, Brandi Benedict, who already owns Lalita's full sister, Hadiya NSN. Below are the last photos taken of Lalita, taken when she was almost 11 months old, before she departed for her new home.
