This ferryboat may have been the one operated by Embree's of Port Hawkesbury. They operated passenger ferryboats on the strait for years.

S.S.MULGRAVE

This ferry boat pushed a steel barge carrying railcars across the strait of canso, between Mulgrave and Pt.Tupper. The cars in this photo are I.C.R. railcars.In the background you can see the old Hadley home located on the point over looking the Strait of Canso.
